      I really enjoyed María E.'s Advanced Spanish class. We learned Spanish in a fun, relaxed environment. Everyone practiced speaking through spontaneous conversation. We shared interesting stories about our daily life and personal experiences. We also did exercises together from a textbook. We made friends with each other and had fun joking, laughing, and celebrating. The instructor took advantage of opportunities to teach us new words and answered the many questions that came up during discussions. We learned about grammar as well as vocabulary. The homework and textbook helped reinforce what we were learning, and I liked how each of us took turns reading our answers during the class. María E.'s cheerful, enthusiastic, and encouraging manner motivated the students. I learned a lot about how to effectively teach a second language. Overall, I had an excellent experience at Go Spanish Now and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning Spanish!

      I was placed into an intermediate class of 5-6 students with Maria E****. My experience was great - the classes were a mix of organic, conversational spanish, and grammar lessons/review. Maria provided us with great resources for study and ideas for ways to practice outside of class. It was overall a constructive and friendly learning environment. Only complaint is that the DC location is no longer offering in-person classes and the Bethesda location is hard to get to from the metro (20 minute walk from Grovsner).
