1 starRegency Furniture has a very crooked and dishonest way of doing business. First of all they attempt to sell you furniture which they know is not in stock and tell you it will be in within eight weeks. Unfortunately, after you purchase it is when they tell you it's three or four months. If you attempt to send anything back they charge you another fee for picking up and then fabricates some superficial damage while cooperate refuses to accept the furniture back or refund your money. Do yourself a big favor, do not shop here!!!Review fromAmir G

1 starThe delivery personnel appeared to be in a hurry to get the furniture set up as quickly as possible.
As a result of them not paying attention the cushion was damaged when slicing through the packaging material and protective plastic covers with their package cutter.
They didn't seem to care when installing the legs on the furniture, it was handled very poorly. Matter of fact, I watched him drilling the legs multiple times unevenly on the bottom of my new furniture. The picture attached shows one of the legs crooked, clearly not straight! This concerns me as my family starts using the couch and the legs start breaking later on due to poor installation by the delivery person.
They also didn't appear to be trained properly to deliver and set up furniture. Let me explain why:
When they couldn't fit the furniture through my door, one of them attempted to remove my door by grabbing his power drill and starting to unscrew the actual door hinges off the door frame. Thankfully, I was there to stop him and simply say No. This is not the correct way to remove a door, rather we need to remove the pins from the door hinges instead.Review fromJOANNE G

1 starPurchased a sectional sofa from Regency in Brandywine, MD. We rented a Uhaul to pick up the furniture. When we got home and opened the box, the sofa was not what we purchased. I called and they told me to bring it back. We had already turned the Uhal back in by that time and I was not about to waste more money for there mistake. That was already the second Uhaul we rented because the first was on a Sunday when I got a call that the furniture was ready for pick up, but when I got there, I was told pick up was closed on Sunday. ?I talked to customer service and asked for a manager which is never available. The lady told me to contact corporate for my issue. Talk to corporate and was told that the furniture I ordered was discontinued. So basically they sold me a sofa that they didn't have in stock. They only had the floor model. Corporate said they would look into it to see what could be done, just give them 72 hours. Still no response and after a month, the couch is broken. The arrogant manager that was there when we finally stopped in the store was just as bad as the customer service. They take no responsibility for anything. He said it was nothing he could do. When I mentioned getting an attorney, he told the customer service guy to close out the account. Then when we left, they thought it was funny. I would give them a zero if it was an option.Review fromKeisha J

1 starI went into the store on Ritchie Road location approximately August and placed an order for a five-piece sectional and showed the representative the picture of what I wanted. Once I received my furniture on 12/16/2022 due to my house not being ready there was a delay in my receiving the furniture. I went back to the store and explained to them why I missed the window of reporting it and told them that my closing was delayed, and I didn't get possession until 12/16/2022 they said they didn't care. I contacted customer service and went to the store they still haven't resolved this issue so I will have to fight with the company I place the charge on. There was a defect in one of the pillows and they still didn't want to back there the product. I asked to exchange and get another set the refund was not what I was looking for they said kiss ass lady. We not doing shit for you. If this doesn't get resolved, I will drop this off at Brandywine. I will never buy here again, and the owner should be appalled at the customer service that is giving at the location so unprofessional, rude.Review fromJoey T

1 starCan we do a negative rating? We purchased our furniture in February of 2021, a couch and two recliners. We received them in June of 2021. We were out of town from July 22-August 16, 2021 and the furniture was not used through the date we received it until we arrived home. In April of 2022 the recliner started to fall apart. I sent an email to customer service and got the response from CSR Robert that he would have a tech come out to look at it. We had a tech come out on July 28th after multiple cancellations prior. When he looked at both our recliners he said that the one couldn't be repaired. The other was on it's way to not being able to be repaired either because it was having the same problem. We were told he would relay that info to them and we should expect a call. We do have the extended warranty and we were told with any problems that we would receive our money back or an exchange for equal value of our purchase. It's almost January 2023 and Ive heard nothing back and I have emailed the company multiple times in reference to this with photos. The recliner has now started falling apart literally. The lumber under it has started falling out. What are we suppose to do now? 2600$ later and no furniture that isn't broken? This is **.Review fromChristina A

1 starWhile at the Fredericksburg store I was trying to resolve an issue with my furniture delivery. I became very upset with how the General Manager was treating me and I began to shudder and loose my words. The General Manager started making fun of me. He was basically being a bully. It has become quite obvious the retailers no longer understand that without customers they have no business no moneyReview fromLyn W.

1 starDO NOT BUY AT FROM THIS COMPANY. THOUGH THEY ARE A PART OF ASHLEY FURNITURE GO TO ASHLEY'S.
I PURCHASED 2 NIGHT STANDS AND A BED IN GRAY. AFTER I GOT HOME I LOOKED AT SALES SLIP THEY CHANGED ORDER TO 3 NIGHT STANDS AND A BED AND MARKED WHITE. WHEN I CALLED BACK TO SAY ORDER WAS WRONG THEY TOLD ME WELL TO LATE IT IS IN THE Q. I SAID I AM CALLING YOU AN HOUR LATER, NOT DAYS LATER. I ALSO DID NOT ORDER WHITE OR 3 NIGHT STANDS AND YOU CHARGED ME FOR 3 NIGHT STANDS. THEY CANCELLED ORDER, RE SUBMITTED IN THE GRAY BUT WILL NOT REFUND ME THE 125.00 FOR THE EXTRA NIGHT STAND I DID NOT ORDER. IT IS GOING ON 3 MONTHS. I HAVE CALLED AND CALLED. THEY SAY YOU CAN NOT TALK TO ANYONE, THEY JUST TYPE IN COMPUTER ABOUT COMPLANT. I NOW HAVE TO FILE WITH THE DISTRICT JUSTICE TO GET MY 125.00 PLUS COURT COST FEE. THANK GOD I AM NOT GOING BACK TO ORDER 4 MORE PIECES OF FURNITURE I PLANNED ON BUYING.Review fromDonna S.

1 starRegency Furniture has no integrity. On 8/18/22, Purchased Ferrington Power headrest reclining sofa from Warminster, PA store. Delivered 8/23. Immediately after delivery I noticed damage below armrest. Submitted photo to CS. I wanted a refund but Wayne McKinsley. CS Mgr. refused my request, in his condescending robotic voice. Told me I was only eligible for a replacement Mr McKinsley reassured me he’d PERSONALLY look over the replacement for any defects or damages. On 8/30/22 the replacement was delivered. The driver unpacked the sofa on my driveway in front of me. There were multiple defects and damages to the sofa! I was appalled! There were scratches on the cushion as if an animal scratched and ripped it. The fabric in multiple areas had strip lines across the microfiber fabric showing defective. I told the drivers I can’t accept the replacement and to place 1st recliner that was taken out by the drivers on my driveway to load both back on the truck. The driver FaceTime his supervisor. She said only the replacement can go back onto the truck. I had to keep the 1st damaged sofa recliner! It was a horrible shocking experience. The humidity with very high that day. I wanted to call the Police before this issue could have escalated. I decided to remain calm and have the drivers put the 1st damaged sofa in my garage. I’m waiting to hear from customer service to make arrangements for Regency to pick up the 1st damaged reclining sofa. Syncrony Bank has already send me a bill and I’ve initiated a dispute. I find this whole ordeal represents total lack of interigty and very much appalling. I would never recommend a consumer to do business with Regency Furniture! Worth no stars!Review fromBonnie G

1 starRegency Furniture is the worst company!! I called to talk to the Manager (Mike) who refused to give me his last name because his company HAGERSTOWN REGENCY delivered a broken chair to my elderly parents and refused to take it back, the driver knew it was broken and refused to take it back. Now they have been stuck with a broken chair for almost 2 months now and when directed to Corporate in Brandywine and Carlos told me there was no Manager or Supervisor at the Corporate headquarters. I am so upset because this company is taking advantage of my elderly parents and refuse to take the chair back, can someone help my parents please?
