      I had 3 very bad plumbers before I foolishly hired "Spartan Plumbing." The "plumbers" varied from completely incompetent to mostly incompetent. They tried to sell me a huge project when what I needed was relatively small. When I realized how truly awful they were (by this time they'd jack hammered a big hole in the basement floor) I told them, no more-just the original job. Put in a new, unblocked pipe & close it up (including the hole they mistakenly jack hammered).

      The big bossman, who was seldom here, said they were going to charge me for more because I "changed my mind." When I said I wouldn't pay more he called and shouted at me for quite a while.

      The basement is a disaster area; they didn't clean up.

      And, one of the issues that one of them assured me was fixed is not fixed. I can't tell yet whether the bigger issue is fixed--I fear it's not but I'll have to see.

      Oh- they work 4 hours a day, including morning break and lunch break.

      Awful; I went on someone's recommendation and acted quickly in hiring them because my laundry room was filling with sewage. I admit I should have read reviews and STAYED AWAY.
