- Additional Info:On July 26, 2022, the City of Chicago filed a civil complaint in the Circuit Court of Cook County against Monarch Legal, its head Mr. Timothy Burnette, and Strategic Financial Solutions ("Defendants") for allegedly running a fraudulent debt resolution scheme. The City's complaint alleges the Defendants violate and continue to violate consumer protection laws and is asking the court to stop the Defendants from engaging in debt resolution activity in the City and assess fines for violations of the Chicago Municipal Code.
As recent as September 14, 2022, Mr. Timothy Burnette also serves as co-owner of Option 1 Legal.
