I used Option 1 about 6 years ago I paid over 600 hundred a month for 48 months my debt at that time was 19,000 when I stopped paying I still owed 15,000. I did settlement on one of cards on my on and still owe 2 more for 13,000 total. I would advise anyone not to use this company. I dud see on news where some company had been sued fie collecting all those fees

I have the same issues as all the other complaints. $11,000 in upfront fees. Did not respond to court orders and those fees have been added to my debt. 2
1/2 years after contract expiration still paying 538 per month with no contact from Option One. Not seeing any settlement actions and still owe $4000. The 11 grand upfront would have been enough to pay off the final debt. So very sorry we contracted this firm.

I've been in a program with Option1Legal for a little over 4 years now. I missed 3 bi-weekly payments. I logged into the Option1Legal customer portal and saw notifications about my missed payments. I clicked the hyperlink in a notification and the message said I could email/call for help. Their hours are (9a-5p) and so are my working hours. So I emailed 3 times and finally got a response saying I had to call in. I called in... waited on hold for 47 mins and then hung up because I had to get back to work. I called again the next day, used my 1 hour lunch break on hold- no one answers- I hung up. I emailed again- and again, "I need to call in". I responded saying I've tried calling in and couldn't keep waiting on hold and asked them to call me instead. No one called! I called back again on 04/05/2024 and I got ********. He reviewed my account, said he needed to send me a form to e-sign and that would solve the matter. I signed it while on the phone with ********. He confirmed that he received it and I logged into the customer portal to make sure and it was attached- perfect! ******** said it would take a couple of days to go through and that my next draft payment was on 04/20/2024. I also tried to submit extra payments in their portal (outside of the draft payments) and got errors so I have to solely rely on those drafts to keep chipping away at my CC debt. I checked my bank account to see if the draft came out on 04/20/24 and it didn't. I logged into the customer portal and it has been cancelled. I called again today, waited for 1 hour and had to hang up again. I cannot get in touch with anyone there and I've already signed the form that ******** sent and yet my account is cancelled. I enrolled 9 credit cards- they've paid off 6 of them, 2 of them are currently on payment plans with the creditors and 1 is still pending this far. I'm not sure what's going on there now but I'm concerned about the legitimacy of this program. I'm not sure what to think or what to do.

I don't know how these people sleep at night. I reached out to them for help consolidating my debt after my divorce. The crazy thing is I could have done better on my own. I just handed them my money. I had $34k in credit card debt with no interest for 18 months and a credit score of *** when I signed up with them. Now 4yrs and 3 months later..I still owe 17k and I have a credit score of ***. After making payments of $500/month for 4 yrs. The majority of the money I sent in went to fees ?? Hopefully they are shut down before they take advantage of more innocent people.

Awful company we’ve been paying them for four years, over $600 a month. They have received just under 35K from us and have settled less than 50% and are now stating that we have to continue to make payments to them for the remaining settlement until September 2024 when I original agreement said we had to make these payments for four consecutive years until August 2023. There is over $10,000 in unknown fees that they have charged us and taken and we are no better off debt wise. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Better off declaring bankruptcy than dealing with this company. Just paid my last payment, 42nd payment, 20% of my debt has been supposedly dealt with and they say they need another 10 payments to finish their contracted job, Scam $19000 paid and the only thing they've done is set up a payment plan with 1 debtor, been sued an lost on 3 debtors because they never even contacted the company's...Joke

Option One is a scam....As I am reading all of your reviews I am going through the same situation with this Company. I already made my payments of $400 for 42 months which is almost 17,000. They have only paid 2 of my credit cards which they settle for $5000. Now they want to extend the program so I can give them more money. So what happened with the $12,000 that have already paid??? like seriously. That is not what we agreed on from the start they said, I was only going to pay $17,000 and they will cover all my debt. I guess not. Have any of you got your money back or resolved this issue? I mean is more than $10,000 that they are taking from me and I don`t find it fair. Please do not go to this people they are taking your money. I feel that I would have been better off making agreement myself with the creditors. FYI ( 0 on the Starts)
