No one showed up to a scheduled appointment that I set on behalf of my 15 year old son who suffers from *****. After setting the appointment I representative reached out to me and proceeded to tell me that in **************** children under 18 cannot obtain a medical cannabis recommendation. I read her the statute from the actual bill in **************** and she called back after checking with the doctor to apologize then sent an email with the appointment confirmation as well as the intake form. After paying their fee of $200 ($119 with promo code) and sending in private medical records at their request nobody showed up for the schedule telehealth appointment. When I reached out after waiting 45 minutes I received a phone message that said they were currently closed for the evening. I contacted management via email and express my concern and in the morning with contacted by another representative who said they are not legally authorized to register children in **********. Having just been through this barely over 12 hours prior I was obviously frustrated. I replied with a screenshot from their very own website that indicates the correct policy in ********** and confirming patients with qualifying conditions of any age are eligible. I'm now forced to wait 3 or 5 business days while they return the fee that I paid making my son suffer longer as he now has to wait for those resources to return to me before I can schedule him another appointment

      Good afternoon,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand the concerns raised by the patients mother, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation and explain our position.
On November 17, 2024, the patients mother reached out to our office inquiring about scheduling an appointment for their minor child. At that time, a Green Health Docs (GHD) representative made her aware that our medical providers are not able to treat patients under the age of 18 in the state of **********. This is a common practice, as not all medical providers are licensed to treat minors, a situation which is also true in other medical settings. This is the reason why pediatric and family practices exist, separate from adult general care.
It is important to note that while Washington State law does allow for patients of any age to obtain a medical cannabis card, a provider who is appropriately trained and licensed to certify minors must be consulted. Unfortunately, our providers do not have the necessary credentials to treat minors.
In response to the inquiry, the patients mother was made aware of our policy, and she asked if we could refer her to another provider. Regrettably, we do not have access to such referral information. Several weeks later, the patients mother chose to proceed with booking an appointment despite being already informed that we do not treat minors.
When the appointment was confirmed, the mother was again advised that we cannot see minors due to the age restrictions. However, on a third call, our representative mistakenly overlooked the patient's age in verifying the intake form was done. The appointment was scheduled for December 10, 2024, at 7:50 PM. Our office closes at 9pm est so the patient was not contacted back until the morning.
Once management became aware of the situation the next morning, at 8:00 AM EST, I personally issued a refund to the patients mother. We aim to process refunds as quickly as possible, typically within the same day the refund is requested. However, as with all refunds, we ask patients to allow up to 7 days for processing, as Green Health Docs cannot control the processing times of financial institutions.
Additionally, I made an effort to explain the importance of medical providers being licensed to treat minors, emphasizing that this is determined by the specific medical knowledge, education, and training of the individual providers. However, the patients mother continued to refer to the general state laws, which do not take into account the specific qualifications required to treat minors.
We sincerely hope that this explanation clarifies the situation. Our goal is to provide accurate information and excellent service to all our patients, and we regret any confusion this may have caused.
      Thank you for your understanding.

I referred 2 separate patients under the referral bonus program. Ive been requested repeatedly to fwd email I was sent stating I would get a referral bonus. And I fwd that email repeatedly. Every week I'm told my issue would be escalated too a manager. Yet I've never once got a referral bonus. Bait and switch scam.

****** and ****** ***** both signed up for the anticipated AL ******* Marijuana Program on June 5, 2023. All patients are thoroughly made aware via multiple different communication routes they will not be receiving a card right away. This is strictly a  promotional deal to get patients excited and ready for the program. Patients that signed up early received $50 off. At the time the program was expected to go live in late 2023, early 2024. The ** program has experienced many legal battles that our company could possibly not know about or expect to happen. Patients are welcomed to contact for a refund at anytime, however after a year the credit card processor can no longer refund via that route. This is not uncommon practice. The 2 mentioned patients have been refunded their payments via a different route.

I contacted Green Health Docs to get a medical marijuana card consultation, they advertised $199.00 guaranteed, I submitted my payment to find out they charged me $298.00 then stated they would refund me if I was not eligible for a card . My appt was at 4:10 04/12/2024 I waited in chatroom for one hour but never spoke to a Doctor they just ended my session without reason, they also dont explain you have to purchase a subscription to a chat community you get an email telling you to complete your intake, I did all that ,I've reached out to them already and got nowhere but I've received new emails advertising a $70.00 dollor discount, this is not about the money it's about being professional and i see alot of the same complaints on your board, thank you

      Business Response

Client made an appt on 4/10/2024. 2 mins later that appt was canceled by them. Despite multiple messages being sent to the client to complete the intake form, that was not completed either. The medical providers cannot give treatment without the consent in the intake form being signed, which was not signed because the intake form was never completed. Given the incomplete intake and canceled appt, provider believed appt was canceled. We do not have any type of chat subscription service. When I called the client to discuss these matters, they did not answer. Client's voicemail directed me to send a text message.  Client added additional services to the appt at time of booking, which is why the fee was higher. I provided proof of all these things to the client. Client elected to still be refunded. Client was refunded right away on that same day, 04/15/2024. Client expected to receive the refund as soon as it was submitted. Green Health Docs cannot control or be expected to control bank processing times.

Says for a medical marijuana card. They send a certificate and not a card. Spent over one hundred dollars for nothing.

      Business Response

      Date: 03/21/2024

Hello, thank you for allowing us to respond to this compliant. ********* received information from a friend of hers that there was an MMJ program in her state of ** and that there is a physical card to be had. This is false.  KY's program will not be live until 01/01/2025. The state is only operating under an executive order. The purpose of being seen with Green Health Docs in **, is to obtain a certification that will keep you from suffering legal consequences if you are to be found with Marijuana on your person by law enforcement until their program goes live. Once the program actually goes live all Ky patients that paid for a certification will receive their first appt for free to get them started with the program. Once a patient is seen and approved by our medical providers and certification is issued, the patient is no longer eligible for a refund. ********* agreed to this policy in 2 different places and was reminded of the policy on every email she received from us.  We do our best to explain every part of the process for every state however, we cannot explain/correct false information a patient was given by a friend or relative if we do not know this was the info given. ********* did not mention this was her understanding.  I have contacted ********* numerous times to discuss this. She has not answered my calls, responded to my emails or text messages. When ********* made her appt, the executive order was explained to her. This is also explained on our website where she found our contact information. ********* has also used this certification since receiving it. She stated she "gave the certification to the courts and that they kept it". I am assuming ********* has legal issues that prompted her to seek out a certification for Marijuana. We are happy to issue her another certification that will not exp until the program goes live. By ********** ********* on calls with our office she agrees she received what she paid for and has used it. If ********* would like to discuss this further, I can be reached at ************. I set up an appointment for today 1/26/24 at 645pm with Green Health Docs on 1/25/24. I paid 150 for the visit for the recertification of the MMJ card. I logged on to the link for the visit at 635pm and waited until 705pm to attempt a call and also email regarding the provider not showing up. I looked at emails again and noticed that 2 emails from Green Health showed different times 1 at 645pm and one at 745pm. I thought oh maybe I'm early so I waited until 805pm with no show from a doctor at all. again I emailed and there was no response and the telephone stated closed. I just want a refund for my money because the emails did not disclose the time zone for the appointment and that is why it never happened. I am attaching the screenshots of emails sent and the payment made and the difference in times shown with lack of time zones.

Patient requested a refund and refund was given right away. This patient is in Arizona. Arizona does not support daylight savings time change. Our scheduler does not realize this and has sent patients the appt in Pacific time zone. This has caused confusion and we certainly apologize for that.

Green docs health is overcharging customers, forcing us to have our renewal appointments 30+ days early and then shorting us a full month or more of medication. They are charging for 12 months of service when they are only providing 11. The doctors aren't even concerned if you have a real ailment. They just want the money like most just want the marijauana. Smh making it hard for REAL PATIENTS

      Business Response

      Date: 01/29/2024

Good day. Green Health Docs provides Medical Marijuana certifications to patients across 30 + states. The process in which you become and stay a patient is different for every state.  Green Health Docs does the best we can to remind patients of expiring medical cards according to the patients last visit with us. Mrs. ******* is a Maryland patient was us. In Maryland, patients have to have a medical certificate from a medical provider and they also need to be registered with the state of MD as a patient. We do send reminders that patients are due for their next years visit 30 days before. We do not force anyone to be seen at that time. It is expected that the patient knows their own exp date and schedules their appt accordingly.  Mrs.******* has been a returning patient with us for many years. The process has not changed over these years. The majority of our patients value the early reminder so it gives them time to gather the funds for this appt. Green Health Docs representatives do not have access to a patients state acct. That acct is where the true exp date is located. Only the patient and the Maryland Cannabis Administration have access to this.    Green Health Docs and The Maryland Cannabis Administration are completely separate entities that do not share information due to HIPPA. The price to renew your certification, if you are a returning patient, is usually $150.00  with Green Health Docs. Mrs.*******  was not been charged $150.00 or $250 like she claims in this compliant. In fact Mrs.******** has not paid the full renewal fee since 2021. We have always discounted her appt. This past appt she was given a coupon for $50 off dropping her renewal fee to $100.00.  Given Mrs. ********* ******* was seen early and this caused her to lose almost a month off her certificate, I will prorate and refund the month of certification she lost. This will be in the amount of $12.50. Another point to note,   In April of 2023, our office was contacted by Mrs.******* for an allotment increase. In order to complete the increase the patient was required to be seen by the provider again resulting in the patient being seen early. I cannot refund a charge of $250.00 because we did not receive a payment of $250.00. I have included screenshots of email communication, refund and past appts with payments paid attached.

I used greenhouse docs to receive my medical Marajuana license in ******** from the state of ****. A doctor and representatives said that I wouldnt qualify as out of state, which is not Missouri law. I asked for a refund but the doctor wouldnt refuse or approve me even though he said I didnt qualify. I tried to cancel a next day appointment and deal with it on my own. They wouldnt give me a refund. I called multiple times and talked to multiple **** and did talk to a doctor. Im doing it again to get a refund but this is a shady practice and I was not told upon paying that I had to use the service once I paid or I would not get my money back. This business doesnt know state law for proper approval or denial. This is a big issue for those who have used this service and have been inaccurately approved or denied.

On 1-14-23 I called Green Docs Health for information regarding how to obtain a medical marijuana card for pain for trigemnal neuralgia. I have been to my family doctor plus three neurologists that prescribed medications that do no good plus have terrible side effects. I immediately asked the person who answered the phone if the process involved sending records to them on the computer as I don't know how to do that. She assured me that would not be necessary and set up an appointment to become certified and took my credit card information for the payment of $120.00. She then sent me a link that required giving them all my personal information, including SSA number and birthdate, which I unwisely filled out and then the next step required downloading and sending them my driver's license and proof of medical condition. I don't know how to do that so I called back and the man I talked to suggested asking someone to help me which I don't have. My daughter is ill and I don't want my neighbors knowing my business. I asked to have to appointment cancelled but he kept asking me to reschedule and after a long argument he finally relented and said my money would be refunded which it hasn't but it probably hasn't had enough time. My concern is now they have all my personal information which could be used for identity theft. I didn't finish the application but don't know how long the information remains on my application. I have frozen all three credit bureau accounts plus notified Social Security that put a lock on my account. Hopefully this will give me some protection but I will still have to reverse the process if I want to purchase anything that requires a credit check. I hope you can find out how long Green Health Docs keeps personal information and who has access to it and how it's safeguarded. They also need to be truthful with those who call for information instead of immediately signing them up for a service they are not able to access.

      Business Response

Customer was refunded the day the request for refund was made. I assured the customer that her personal information was destroyed and would not be used for anything further. There is an expectation that customers have done some research on their own. These are state sponsored programs. When participating in any state program, you will likely need to supply your personal information.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
The person who called me assured me that my personal information would be deleted. The refund for my cancelled appointment appeared on my credit card a week after my request although it is still pending at this time (1-26-23.)

I was disappointed that instead of accepting any responsibility whatsoever for this problem, the person I talked to laid it all on me. The first person I talked to in my initial call gave me false information to the first question I asked but yet I was the one to blame for not doing research. All of this could have been avoided if she had just been truthful, research or no research. I would have ended the call and it would not have gone any further.

Also, being a state sponsored program does not mean their employees are actual state employees that are vetted as state employees are. Anyway, I am relieved that my personal information has been deleted. I just hope the person who called me with this information is more truthful than the first person I talked to.
