      I have been receiving unsolicited and very misleading mailings from NEAMB. I’ve called and then tried a web chat. Unsuccessful with both (waited on the phone and left a message after a half hour but no reply). Web chat couldn't take care of the issue. I would like to be opted out of any and all unsolicited mailings. I cannot do that unless I speak to customer service. And customer service could not do it. I am uploading an image of the mailer and how misleading it is. It says on the top to pay immediately, before any information is given that this is optional. and it claims I need to act immediately, again before stating that this is an ad, not a mandatory payment for my current life insurance. But its just an advertisement for more life insurance.

      Thank you NJEA for removing this paying member from the unsolicited and misleading mailers that you send to paying members. For any other members of this union that supports its members, feel free to open more complaints about this unethical and concerning behavior of a union thats goal is to support its members, but with these mailers, tries to take advantage of them.

      On May 1 I had a bank withdrawl from NEA Insurance. I realized that I signed up for the wrong policy. I immediately faxed them to cancel. I did receive the cancelation letter confirmation. However, not the $568.93. I have called and emailed over 20 times. EVERYTIME I hear "give it 7-10 days to process" It's been 3 months and I am not getting anywhere.

      NEA through its Member Benefits division sells life and AD&D insurance. However, it provides no means for filing claims. It does not answer its phone (terminal hold) nor does it call back or return messages.
