This is regarding their vending machines under the ******* brand. The 'smart' vending machines are deceitfully designed to trick you into spending more money than you intended. For example when you swipe your credit card to buy a snack, the machine auto loads $5 into the machine. If you do not specifically hit 'end' after you buy a snack, the remaining money from the transaction will stay in the machine for the next person to use without any clear indication or warning Second, if you do not hit 'end' after your transaction, your credit card may actually stay active in the machine and every subsequent person using the machine can use your card to purchase items without your consent or knowledge. This happened to me using their machines and I had to contact my bank to resolve the issue. Lastly, I stupidly used the machine yet again last week and was charged before even making a selection! That prompted me to write this review. The machines are designed to create these 'micro-mistakes' that they hope people do not notice, and that makes the company what I can imagine is untold millions. I will no longer use these machines and tell others at the University where I work the same. Stay away from Sodexo. Stay away from their InReach vending machines. Their website is filled with green washing marketing material but in reality, they support unethical practices.

This company does not deserve any stars. I was invited to be on a phone interview with Rosalind R***** from Human Resources. She changed the time of interview to a later time that day and then never called me. I received a call on my phone a few hours later from an unrecognizable number from South Carolina not Florida or even saying Sodexo or this woman's name. I called back and it was Ms. R***** phone number apparently. She sent me an email but would not answer my call. The phone said "voice mail box full". Therefore, I couldn't even leave a message for her. She said in her email to me that I hung up on her and she was sending me her calendar to reschedule if I wanted. She never sent me the calendar. I took off a day of work from my current job to take this phone interview. Ms. R***** never apologized either. This is not someone who should be working in Human Resources. There was no compassion expressed either about this major inconvenience. I would hope no one would experience what I experienced and this is why I am making this complaint.

How Sodexo operates is like theft, they take thousands from organizations and don't offer adequate services. Take the GMU campus, students pay thousands and receive poor quality food, not at the fault of the workers but due to a lack of supplies. It is not unheard of that people to get food poisoning or simply cannot get food when they run out. How do you not have cups at the franchises you operate? How do you run out of donuts daily at a donut store? You can't act surprised that there's high foot traffic, it's a college campus, and these students don't come out of thin air. I get the "Southside Shits" weekly and I shouldn't have to fear the food I am forced to eat on campus. Do better Sodexo, we know you get enough of our money.
