    I paid this business almost 1600 dollars for a tent, lights, chairs, and tables for my engagement party. An entire week before my event I sent them a picture of my space and they said that the tent will not fit in my space. I was very disappointed but I understood that they couldn’t accommodate. The outrage is that they tried to charge me 75%of the tent cost for “cancellation” fee even though I didn’t cancel!! They are the ones who couldn’t accommodate. In addition they didn’t bring the lights that I paid for at all. They are refusing to refund me for the services they couldn’t provide.

    I take
    offense the fact that you said we scammed you. We are a legitimate business and
    do not scam anyone.

    As we
    discussed, there was no request with Amanda, your salesperson to have lights.
    Without a tent, there is nothing to hang them on and we have to custom work
    with bases, uprights, etc. It can be done, we do it all the time. However, this
    was not discussed.

    I have
    refunded 75% of the tent and the lights.  That is due to hit your
    card. 

    I also
    see your complaint on the BBB and I would like to point out that after many
    requests we were finally given a layout Wednesday, October 4th. As
    soon as we received the layout Amanda called and spoke with your father. After
    the measurements were completed, it was obvious the tent would not fit. We
    offered to set it up on the side yard, front yard, or the driveway, all of
    which you declined. At your request “nix the tent” we did just that.

    I will
    make sure your card is refunded as soon as possible today.

    We ordered a party tent for our wedding a dance floor and 6 fans for the inside of the tent. Tent dance floor and some fans were delivered. The order called for 6 fans only 4 were delivered we called and 2 more were delivered. The day of the event our Wedding the fans were not working. The fans were working previously however we noticed that the wiring had to be faulty so this means that it was very hot inside of the tent on this sunny Saturday afternoon at 4pm after party plus had closed many guests were uncomfortable and pictures were ruined these are moments that can never be re done we tried several ways and of the fans one would come on and then stop we had several people that looked at this problem and there were Not alot plugged up to make these not work and pointed out the faulty fans when property was picked up the gentleman checked and it happened with them also. We have tried to get this problem refunded but what we get from Laurel is a nasty attitude unprofessional and well you should have called us kind of thing we were told she was on vacation when we reported after the wedding and we would receive a call back never received a call we called on September 16 to be told we waited too late and oh well. The men that picked up property were witness now Ms Laurel states she doesn't know who picked up property. This person Laurel should be taken out of the customer service part as she is not professional and is one sided not trying to listen to the problem these fans cords are faulty and this is a complaint so I hope they don't start a fire at someone else's event they need to be serviced we are asking for a refund for the faulty fans

    I would like to share the facts of this rental:
    The tent and fans were set up and installed.
    The fans were tested and all working properly.
    The client called days after the wedding to report only one fan worked.
    The fans all tested and working properly.
    The client was notified that there were no faulty fans and there was no refund due.
    I, Lauri, not Laurel spoke with the gentlemen around the time of this complaint. Please note that he told me one wire was faulty and I explained to him that 6 fans do not run off of one wire. I explained that each fan has its own cord and plug that gets "triple tapped" into another fan and cord and then an extension cord to the house. It sounds like he tripped the circuit by having other items running. He again said one wire did result in all five fans not working. I again tried to explain with a little more detail about how electricity and the fans work, and he said "you are full of shit" and slammed the phone in my ear.
    The fans have worked fine all season.
    No refund is due at this time.
