This company has horrible customer service. I have pictures and emails to verify all this information.
We held a wedding reception for our daughter - two weeks before the event, we were told the tent they quoted us would not work. A Vice President told us she had not looked at our site survey.
We were delivered 18 broken chairs.
We were quoted and paid for a 6 foot bar. A 5 foot bar was delivered. I was told they had never measured the bar before.
Several of the tables were not properly set up even though we paid for set up.
They put a hole in the screen of our porch. When I asked if I could pay 2/3 of the money and the last 1/3 when the screen was fixed, I was told they would pull our tent.
I had to pay the entire amount. One week later and my screen is still not fixed and I have no date for resolution. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told several times he was not available.
Some of the dishes they delivered to us were dirty.

We noticed a one-star review and no matter what we do, this client refuses to be pleased and no matter what we do we are not going to be able to make this person happy.

    The facts are:

    1. We have numerous badgering emails from this customer.

    2. The yard is only so big. We delivered a 30 x 60 tent when the client contracted for a 30 x 55 tent. Clearly this was larger and required some custom work, which we did at no charge.

    3. The President did the site survey, so it was a moot point for me, the Vice President to do another site survey.

    4. The bride added items which would not all fit and I shared that and asked if we could use the screened porch.

    5. We provided several interior design options at no charge, and we were berated verbally because she did not like them.

    6. Despite having been provided the larger tent at no additional costs we provided
a one-time cost goodwill adjustment of $250 for her perceived stress for
purportedly not being able to fit additional tables in the originally planned
    tent.

    7. She had originally demanded we provide her with a credit of $1000, though later
stating that the stressors were caused by her husband losing his job and her
    mother having had a stroke.

    8. She lost her temper and yelled at me and said she was going to bad mouth me to the person that was a guest at the wedding and that referred us.

    She
also alleged that our staff somehow damaged a screen on her back porch when
delivering small items. Despite our staff’s belief that they had not damaged
her property, in yet one final attempt to satisfy her we agreed to make repairs
to her screen and contracted with a Home Improvement Contractor to fix it.
Despite being informed that they would get the repairs completed as soon as
possible and the fact that the week following the alleged incident, it rained
nearly every day, she continued to berate our team for not getting it done fast
    enough.

She posted a false review on ********, which we removed. She stated

    1. 18 broken chairs and there was one that we replaced. We switched others out that looked a little different due to dye lots.

    2. Alleged dirty dishes when this is simply not the case and she never mentioned to anyone. We have a triple check system for our dishware handling.

    3. We do not feel we placed the hole in the screen; however, we are paying to have it fixed. Yes, it took a week for a contractor to get their due to rain and other jobs booked.

The owner was out of the office producing a large-scale event for *** **** and I mentioned that to her many times and as the Vice President this responsibility falls into my lap.

Despite our best efforts, the customer is trying to sully our reputation and no matter what we do we will not satisfy the client.

In closing, we do not agree with this review and respectfully request it is not published.

    Best,

    Lauri
