In July 2022 I bought a GE Profile washer and dryer. Within 2 mos the dryer made a screeching noise and needed service. Parts were ordered that have never materialized. I was promised rebates at time of purchase. These have either been refused or never materialized. Yesterday -- March 27, 2023, at less than a year old -- the washer quit working. I will not shop at B & S again and I will not buy GE appliances again. Buyer beware!!

We have a Bosh Series 800 dishwasher that has been broken since January. This unit is less than 1 year old, purchased from Bray and Scarf in April 2022.
We have had 3 service appointments and the dishwasher is still not working. The repair person does not wait 15 minutes for the cycle to error, he leaves quickly while knowing that the problem hasn’t been resolved. Each time we have to schedule another repair visit we have to wait a week or more.
We are now approaching a month offline with a 9.5 month old dishwasher and no closer to resolution than we were when this ticket started.
We've been a loyal customer for years, purchasing multiple appliances and warranties, but clearly they no longer care about customer service.

We have been around and around with the Bray and Scarff Service Team. We purchased an ice machine in December 2019, along with their $599.95 service contract. In September 2022 (about two and one half years later) the ice machine stopped working. After five visits from the Bray and Scarff Service team they were unable to fix the machine. The first visit they said they could not hear the noise I was complaining of and for me to record the noise before calling them out again. On another visit they replaced a pump, but that did not fix the problem. I had to wait 48 hours after the new pump was installed before they would allow me to schedule another service call. After another visit, the part they ordered was the wrong part and the service person came and left without doing anything. Needless to say in February 2023, SIX months after the machine stopped working, it still is not working. They now want to charge me another 5 year service contract at $600+ for a replacement machine. I still have two years left on the original service contract, why would I want to pay for a new one? The service manager verbally promised a new machine at no cost, then told the sales team to charge me. I think the warranty program is a sham to force owners to pay for a new appliance and new service contract! Stay away from Bray and Scarff!

When we purchased our home this past Spring of 2022, we learned after a few weeks of living in our home that our ******* double oven purchased at Bray and Scarff wasn't working properly. After resetting it a few times to get it to work, it eventually stopped working all together. We contacted Bray and Scarff the first week of November to see if the warranty still existed on the oven and learned that in fact it did. We were able to immediately scheduled a service tech to look at the oven. After looking at the oven for 10minutes they determined it needed a new part. After several follow up calls over the past two months we still dont have our oven repaired. We have four young children and with the holidays in November and December life without an oven has been difficult. I guess warranties aren't all that great to have after all.

The 5 year warranty is a complete scam, and their service department is ridiculous. Rude, and totally unreasonable. When your washing machine is broken, you don't want to hear that you can't have a service appointment for over a week AND not be even given a timeframe during the day. They expect you to find out the night before what your time window is (which will be multiple hours). How can anyone with a job outside the home pul that off?? I certainly do not want to take an entire day of personal leave from work, and am not able to just notify the night before. Essentially, the warranty ends up being useless. So disappointed.

I purchased five new appliances, all with an extended five year warranty and delivered on 04-26-19. On 3-02-22 I had the first of 13 service calls to repair the refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser. None of these tech visits produced a fix, although many parts have been replaced. On two occasions I have been promised a replacement refrigerator that was later retracted, I am now in a war of sorts to obtain a replacement promise that is actually honored, I feel that I should receive a new refrigerator along with a new five year warranty starting on the new day of delivery, because I have been nine months with a defective appliance. The warranty company wants me to purchase another five year warranty for $ 449.95 if I want more than a one year factory warranty. I want what I paid for and did not receive. According to Epic Protect the warranty company, once I get a replacement, the warranty term balance is lost. It's also notable that there have been five other service appointments with cable guy waits that did not take place because of several excuses such as : earlier job took too long, tech had a family issue, tech hurt on a prior job as well as a tech went home sick. My customer experience with Bray and Scarff is so bad, a movie could be made about it, starring John Candy if he was still alive.

We purchased multiple appliances from B&S in Fairfax earlier this spring for a new kitchen. Our GE double oven failed after a few uses. We have had six (6) tech visits and every major component has been replaced - still does not work. We have been without an oven for over a month with no response from B&S or GE. The lack of customer service is appalling. A speciality retailer has one advantage over big box stores - customer service. Not in this case.

Ordered a new washer and dryer. The Washer was broken upon delivery. They sent a repair person out and he confirmed the washer was broken and recommended the unit be replaced. We called the service department to arrange a replacement. The service manager told us he could not authorize a replacement until the service guy delivered the paperwork in person. I asked for his supervisor to call me, but no supervisor ever called. The repair person called his boss after overhearing the conversation and the original service manager called me back to say I had to call the store the corporate offices could not resolve the issue. I went to the store and was told that a new unit would be delivered on Tuesday. However on Monday before delivery I was told the unit was not in stock. I called corporate to complain and they say you have to speak to the store and the store says it is awaiting corporate to approve a solution. (I requested a color change or loaner unit) This has been happening for two days now. Corporate now says they are going to escalate my issue but that it will take 48 to 72 hours for someone to return my call. They will not transfer me to anyone in the corporate office, This is not good customer service.

Bought 6 appliances, including a washer and dryer, delivered on 9/22/22, and supposedly tested. We have not been able to get the washer to spin and dryer making noise. Tech came out, won’t work on them because he believes they are damaged and doesn’t want his name associated. Screwed us with rebates by the sales person, still trying to get answers and replacements. How many days, waiting on the store warranty’s to run out, how many days does my family go without a w/d while emails and phone calls go unanswered or delayed. Dennis you should make the family tradition like it used to be. Very disappointed.
