      the only positive thing i have to say about bray and scarff is the installers were good. the sales people were slow enough that prices increased during the time we saw the appliances in the store and the order. they never bothered to tell me the item i ordered (for more $) was no longer being manufactured and they sent another model instead never offering a price adjustment. they don't have the better pricing at all. and I hope i don't need warranty service. try ABW or really anywhere else.

      My washing machine stopped working after 18 months. I purchased the extended warranty. Last week I called and they told me one part was in (which they named) and they were waiting for the other but they are in timeframe of 2 weeks to receive parts. Called for status today. Same *** as last week ask to put me on brief hold and came back saying the parts have been ordered and are with timeframe. I asked which part had been received and what they are waiting for and she said they are waiting for both parts. I dont think Ill be buying anything else from Bray and Scarff. I bought a dishwasher, washer, and dryer. I am now in the market for a refrigerator, but will be going elsewhere

      I regret giving this company my business. I was told by a colleague that this is a high-end appliance store, so I decided to give them a try, only to be very disappointed at the poor customer service and my overall experience in the end.I purchased a washer and dryer. The washer was delivered within a week. However, three months later, I am still without a dryer! No one from the store has ever contacted me to give me an update. They have apparently placed the onus on me, the customer, to contact them. I have placed calls and left messages for my salesperson; however, I have not received a return call. I keep getting the runaround about projected shipment dates from those who answer the phone and there appears to be no end in sight to the continuous empty promises. This company will never get my business again.

      This is a company that doesn't take responsibility when they sell poor quality appliances. They stock poorly functioning appliances, without letting customers know of the inherent defects. Once sold, you are stuck with the product. In our case they sold an oven that doesn't keep accurate tempertures! And has a nonfunctional air fryer. Buyer beware. You have been warned. Stay away if you value good service.

      I would like to make something clear in this message. It took an entire year for me to get a door replaced on my refrigerator purchased at Bray and Scarff. The gentleman who came out in the beginning told me it might be a month wait for a new door. I waited 2 months before I finally called and was told that the door had been there all along. Three more weeks went by and when the gentleman came out with the new door he noticed that it was a two man job and that I would have to reschedule. I told him he could leave the new door at my house since it was no use taking it back only to bring it back again. When the two men came out a few weeks later to install the door, they opened the box and noticed that the new door was damaged. Finally, after an almost year wait, a new door was installed last month. At the beginning of this review I mentioned that I wanted to make a clarification. Although I left a poor review it is no way directed towards the sales people who are always excellent to deal with whenever Ive made other appliance purchases from Bray and Scarff. I definitely have no complaints with the techs who had to come out here multiple times and Im sure were as frustrated as I was. And special thanks to ****** and ******* who did an excellent job once the correct door had arrived. They are truly an asset to your company.

      I purchased all of my kitchen appliances through brand scarf bought a five year warranty and last November 2024 my dishwasher needed to be repaired. It is now March 20 25 and my dishwasher is still not repaired. They keep sending out a repair man who does not know what he is doing and keeps ordering the wrong parts.Horrible company ******** customer service

      We chose Bray and Scarff because their ads promise, "We beat the big box stores," but our experience has been the opposite. While the big box stores had the items we needed in stock, weve been waiting 60 days for ******* make matters worse, the front-loading gasket on our washing machine broke within a month of delivery. When we contacted the repair company, they blamed us and refused to cover the repair. Bray and Scarff offered NO help in advocating for us to get this covered under warranty. This lack of support was incredibly frustrating.Additionally, the wash-and-dry unit we purchased does not dry clothes effectively at all. Its clear now that the product doesnt work as advertised, but we were never informed about this limitation at the time of *********** advice: Stick with the big box stores. At least they have stock, and their customer service is far more reliable. We deeply regret trusting Bray and Scarff.

      Bray and Scarff pulled an old fashioned bait and switch. They advertised a microwave and as I attempted to order it, the *** said they don't have it and can't get it. I even texted him the ad. His attitude was we don't have it but browse other options on our site. *** *******

      Review of Bray & Scarff: ******************************* I purchased a new range with an extended warranty from Bray & Scarff in May 2022. The inner right eye on my electric range stopped working on November 2, 2024. Since then, my experience with their customer service has been frustrating and unacceptable.Starting from November 3, 2024, I called the repair line daily, enduring long wait times and being stuck in the hold loop for over 30 minutes each time. On November 7, I finally reached the sales department, who advised me to try the repair line again the next day. Despite my repeated attempts, I received no response and had to call the sales department back, who then sent a message to the repair department. I eventually received a call on November 11 to confirm an appointment for the next day.The technician arrived on November 12, installed a new switch, but later determined the heating mechanism was the issue and needed to order parts, which would take ***** days. That night, while cooking, the back right eye sparked and the entire range went dead. This had never happened before. We reset the circuit breaker, but the same issue occurred with the back left eye. The range is now a safety hazard.I sent a message through the "contact us" page but received no response. On November 13, I called again and was told the earliest appointment for reassessment was November 18. I explained that I could not go without an operable range, especially for Thanksgiving, and requested a replacement.I am appalled at the lack of customer service and the failure to support the products they sell. We are approaching the holiday without a stove due to their non-existent customer service. I feel completely taken advantage of. This is unacceptable.

      Purchased new dishwasher on July 15th 2024 at the *********** location, dishwasher never worked properly from day 1. I ***orted the issue the next day, I had 2 service calls over the next month and it still did not work. Bray and Scarff approved a refund on August 15th. I have still not received my refund, I have tried speaking to the store manager but was hung up on, the sales *** is kicking the can down the road. The apple doesnt fall far from the tree. I have also reached out to the corporate office directly on 2 separate occasions optimistic changes would be made and my refund will be issued. Still no refund. Please avoid this buisness!
