      Company charged me $1300 for service. I appealed the decision with my insurance and insurance decided to pay the company the contracted amount of $320. This happened on 08/02/2023. All American Ambulance received the insurance money and are supposed to refund me $480 that was paid to them in a payment plan. It has now been over 6 weeks and All American has still not issued the refund that I am owed. I made numerous calls to them , the most recent on 09/11/2023 and yet the continue to avoid processing my refund. Also I find it very suspect that they billed me $1300 ,but when insurance finally decided to pay it was for the contracted amount of $320. That bill to me seems almost fradulant.

      Dear Sir/Madame

      The claim submitted to ************************ insurance was for $1319.60. The insurance disallowance due to contractual obligations was $957.26.leaving a balance of $362.34.

      this  amount was processed and paid 8/3/23. The amount of the refund due ******************** based on the attached payments made to All American Ambulance and the Collection Agency  is $400.00 not $480.00..

      If ******************** has record of making any additional payments - he may supply us with it and we can investigate further.

      If ******************** is agrees with the our total of $400.00, we can issue a refund check in that amount within the next two business days and it will be promptly mailed to his address.

      Regarding the initial invoice received by ********************, pricing to a patient  where the insurance denies the claim is based on our retail charges. There are no contractual obligations at that point. since the insurance

      did not approve the claim and the total charge was moved to the patient liability.
