I was living at 7241 Holabird Ave 2nd floor apartment when after several complaints from me about my front door being unsafe. At first they had the pins to the door hinges on the outside of the house. Someone could walk up and take the hinges out very easily and come in my apartment at any time. Seeing I have 2 children in the apartment half the week that especially is not ok. There is were also several other complaints about mouse/rats and the electric not being wired correctly where people in the downstairs apartments were turning my lights on and off. After trying to resolve these issues for along time I finally couldn’t take it anymore and asked to move out by first of the year 1/1/2024. They agreed and I moved out and cleaned the apartment thoroughly and left it in much better shape than I received it, patched all the holes(which I don’t believe I’m even responsible for), cleaned out and unplugged the fridge. Literally spotless. I left out that I’ve been a maintenance tech at a senior living community for the past 2 years and have prior residential construction experience working on my own residences throughout the years as a 41 year old man. Upon getting back my security deposit that was after the 45 day limit and several calls there was an invoice for “bad mud work” that they charged me $300 for. I did put a hole in the sliding plastic door by accident that they are charging $273 for, and normal wear and tear on the blinds. I will include pictures of everything as of when I left. The door that was extremely unsafe and was the main reason I had to move, and the pics I’m attaching is how they fixed it. You can also see the mud is pretty well done even from the pictures. This is a a property management company trying to steal money from me. I’m asking for my $300 back for the bad mud work which is just a lie. I mud walls almost every day. Thank you

The apartment that I am renting from Propertywize at ***************** has countless unlivable situations inside the apartment. 1) Rat/rodent infestation that was confirmed by maintenance that was there prior to me moving in.2) Cockroach infestation that was also confirmed to have existed prior to moving in.3) electric issues that cause circuit breakers to constantly cut out leaving me with refrigerators full of bad food. This apartment is unlivable and the landlord will not release me from my lease, and said future exterminator visits would be out of my pocket.
