      On May 19th, 2024. 911 Restoration of Anne Arundel agreed to remedify **************************************** a 3 levels house of 896 square feet and a basement of less than 200 sqft. A letter in form of agreement was signed that they will accept the amount my insurance (Travelers) paid them. The insurance adjuster came to see the damages before the completion of the job. 911 Restoration issued an invoice of $13,515.18, of which I diligently paid them the whole amount on *************** check number 2032. Today March 24, 2025 I received a letter in the mail from a debt collector that I owed them another $28,014.92 on the work they did since May of 2024. Seeing this letter I made a call to the person (**** ***) that signed the letter, he stated I should have let him deal with the insurance company that is why they are billing me on what they ought to have collected had he spoken to the insurance company. He threatens to put a mechanical lien on my property to get the $28,014.92 which he never told me he will charge before he got the job. The correction of less than 200sqft basement was done without a kitchen, new toilet or installing a boiler, they only cut some few pieces of sheet rock about a foot down and added a new sheet rock. I will appreciate if this can be investigated for any financial fraud on the consumer and the insurance.Thank you,***** ******* (Home Owner)
