    Worst company ever. Loaded my stuff on truck, told me that i was under quoted by 5000 took my stuff to storage..told me i owed them another 8000 to move to house in new state, auctioned it. Was contacted by a attorney about them and I am getting my money back and then some. BET!

    My move was brokered out to this company from ********* Van Lines, a company that misrepresents itself as long-distance movers. Relocating from Pennsylvania to New Mexico with this company was hands down the most egregious moving experience of my life. I do not know how to fully capture the level of dysfunction and fraudulent business practices but I shall try. They are the actual worst: 1. they doubled the cost of my move, 2. they destroyed and/or didn't bring ~$6k worth of my belongings, 3. my boxes were riddled with rodent feces, 4. they were ~2 weeks late, 5. when I called to get an updated delivery estimate their phone numbers were coming back disconnected and I thought all of my property was stolen for 24-48 hours, 6. it took 6 months for them to finally respond to my property damage claims which only happened after I began consulting plaintiff attorneys and threatened them with litigation, 7. the settlement they offered covered ~0.05% of the value of the property they damaged, destroyed, and didn't deliver. Basically, you are better off using anyone but this company. Additionally, under no circumstances book a move through ********* Van Lines, they are equally as fraudulent as Witty Movers and Delivery.

    They are only used by brokers, if you go through a broker, make sure they ARE NOT using witty. Every single large item damaged, from a $5500 desk suite, $2000 mattress (coil mattress he rolled up, it's NOT foam!), shattered 70 inch tv screen, and these are some to name. Started a claim, which would only maybe refund me pennies to a $10K damage/loss claim, but in middle of the claim they canceled the company and now no claim for any kind of refund, no response, and only thing we can do is warn others and pray BBB shuts this company down. Not to mention took almost a month to get my truck, no responses and scam is an understatement. Agree to all comments try to nickel and dime to add up several thousands upon arrival, not careful with items and it not a legit move. If you find out Witty Movers is your moving company, cancel ASAP and do yourself a favor to choose a reputable company. This movers experience will make you sick to your stomach and full of regrets, from start to end.

    They are scam specialists, never ever use a company like them. They have this representative Valerie *****, who answers the call and convinces you that they are not a brokerage and are direct. Giving you false information about themselves from the get go. They used another moving company to send my stuff over. They have another person called as Sierra who is also trained to do the same. They work like leeches to suck your blood and money from hard working students and professionals for your money and your life. The company has the worst management and gets paid by cheating others. They think they can take you for a ride once they have picked up your things for the move. To add they have this Persian driver who don't care about your things and toss it around and give you false square footage and makes you sign a paper stating that you have to call the office and fix the problem. They charged me for an extra 600sqft of stuff that I didn't have. I have pictures to prove it. They may have gotten this money out of me and think they might get away with it. There's a saying ill gotten gains won't last long. They that do to others will get unto themselves. I believe there is a God who sees and I pray that not another person ever believes these scammers or do any business with them. They claim to be the best in Maryland. After this experience I would rather rent a truck and get a few friends and move the stuff myself than ever using any movers. After the move a lot of my stuff was damaged and they didn't take any responsibility for it. Hope they are blessed and continue to be blessed in what they do and have conscience to judge their acts. There has to be a forum for people to give you referrals for movers who are legit and good so you know who is handling your things and that you don't get over charged.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have no customer service skills, lack of communication. They will quote you a price and on the day of moving your price changes to be more. They claim your things will be delivered in 3 to 5 days but that is not true. They will say you signed the contract which says 21 buisness days. It is part of the scam. On the day you make a reservation with them, they said a deposit is being charged but they fail to let you know it was just to hold and they will release it. So you would think you have actually paid for a deposit but you did not. It is a surprise. On top of that when you call them to ask when will your items be delivered, they say they do not know but you have to wait for them to call you. One week passed and nothing. I would not recommend anybody to this moving company as none of the people working there has any empathy .

    The moving experience with Witty Movers was horrible. I would not recommend them to anyone. Their salesperson promised that my items would arrive earlier than final date in the window of time than the contract said it "might arrive" - that's on me for not asking for the arrival of goods date to be amended in writing to reflect to the salesperson's promises. The moving company breaking my stuff (household goods and several plastic bins they were packed in were broken) from lack of care and NOT DELIVERING ALL MY THINGS is entirely their fault though. What also is their fault is the refusals to communicate back when I tried reaching out by email, phone calls, and text nearly each day for 7+ days post-move because they won't give me an answer to "did you find my missing boxes and totes in your warehouse or in the moving truck?" I still have no idea if my stuff is missing/misplaced and might be returned, or if it was conveniently "lost" by one of their employees. Also, why didn't they offer a refund on part of my bill to offset the cost and inconvenience of their incompetence? I have worked with many moving companies and Witty Movers is, by far, the absolute worst. I would give this company zero stars if I could.
