On July 5th 2022 I was at furniture liquidation in spring lake North Carolina. I got financed through mariner financial a Maryland business. As of this date I have not received my furniture. I have spoken with the furniture store 3times last week and told them that they took to long and my wife does not want the furniture and to cancel the financing through mariner. Whether this was done I do not know. I have been trying to get ahold of the corporate office since Friday august 5th they are supposed to be calling me today. I am not holding my breath about that. When I spoke with the Sanford N.C. Office they told me that they are well aware of the problems with furniture liquidation and not delivering furniture in a timely manner. That begs the question of why are they still doing financing with this company , when they have had numerous complaints from people who have financed with mariner. It's all about money and to **** with the customer, which is one of many problems with this country cooperate greed and too bad for the customer get stuck between the two businesses. 1 ioata of harm happens to my wife's credit report of this **** then I will really have a problem on my hands. This complaint is being filed on behalf of my wife ********* *******

There have been repeated calls and emails to this company to work to resolve obtaining payment history. The account is current and been a customer for four years. An email address was provided by the company - [email protected] - and repeated emails sent with no email acknowledgement. I just spoke with a company representative that stated the email must be spelled wrong.....ummm - after 8 emails and no email bounce backs - the emails are correct.

The horrible customer service provided by the branch and now the customer service division....I just want to be able to obtain my payment history. If something could please be done to work to resolve this issue.

I was approved for a $1500 loan on 7/19/22. It's been difficult getting in touch with anyone at the local branch, as they do not answer the phone. Once I got in touch with someone, I was told my job only does verification through CCC verify. I gave Mariner a number to contact and I have not heard from them since. I attached the employment verification from CCC Verify on 7/22 to the application. This should be all that's needed to distribute the funds. I still haven't heard back since that day. It's been almost 9 days since any contact about my loan approval.

Mr. ******* applied for additional credit with Mariner on July 18, 2022. A review of applicable records confirm that Mr. ******* next attempted contact with Mariner on August 1, 2022.

I received a voicemail from this branch but the phone number given is the main number and no one answers. Either provide an email address, email me, or a direct phone number. On or around May 2018, I did have a loan with Mariner Finance, LLC. I obtained the loan to aide a family member that did not repay the loan. Unfortunately, I was stuck with a ding on my credit file.

In order to obtain the loan, my vehicle was used as collateral. In 2020, during a natural disaster, my vehicle was declared a total loss. I contacted the merchant to inform them of the loss and also provided documentation from the insurance company so they would be aware that I was being truthful regarding the matter and not trying to avoid them. The manager at the Philadelphia location told me they would rectify this and even provided my title back to me. However, the indebtedness is showing as a collection on my credit file. I have contacted the merchant to rectify this and continue to get the run-a-round. Please help me resolve this matter expeditiously as it is hurting my credit.

***** ****** entered into the loan with Mariner on May 8, 2018. The executed contract requires twenty-four (24) payments of $118.30 beginning on June 8, 2018 and was secured by a perfected lien on a 2006 Saturn Vue. With the account past due for the July 8, 2018 contractual payment obligation, and all attempts to contact Ms. ****** having failed, Mariner initiated legal action to collect the account on September 17, 2018. Mariner was awarded judgment in the amount of $2,476.49.

On July 31, 2020, Ms. ****** spoke with Mariner and advised that the vehicle used as collateral had been deemed a total loss. Ms. ****** inquired about a possible settlement offer to settle the account for less than the balance owed. Mariner agreed to accept the amount of $1806.77 to be paid within 21 days of the agreement. In addition, Mariner agreed to release the lien on the totaled vehicle as a courtesy to our customer and due to the limited value.

Mariner completed the electronic lien release as promised, however Mariner never received the agreed upon settlement of $1806.77 to close the account. Based on our review, the information being furnished to the nationwide credit reporting agencies regarding this account is accurate-.

On Monday July 15, 2022 I reached out to Mariner Finance to negotiate debt settlement
and ask questions in regards to how I can better my credit score. When talking to the rep
she was very aggressive and started blaming me for not paying my bill and then started to
scold me on the very matter. I said hey looked I am disabled and have reasonable
justification to why I needed to negotiate the debt owed as well as negotiate negative
annotations on my report. The rep then said 'oh just because you are disabled that means
you cannot pay up'. This is a direct violation in accordance with the American with

company's representative. I had to end the call abruptly because of the negative toxic
      treatment.

***** ******* entered into the loan with Mariner on April 14, 2022. The executed contract required twenty-four (24) payments of $225.53 beginning on May 14, 2020. A review of applicable records confirm Mr. ******* contacted Mariner's Recovery Department on July 25, 2022 requesting a settlement that would include removing the collection account from his credit profile. Mr. ******* was advised that we are unable to offer any settlement that would include removing accurate account experience information.

Thank you for contacting us. Mariner Finance, LLC ("Mariner") takes customer concerns seriously, and our Customer Relations Department has thoroughly researched this account.

****** ***** entered into the loan with Mariner Finance Florida, Inc. on August 22, 2017. The executed contract required one (1) payment of $167.16 and twenty-four (24) payments of $141.47 beginning on October 4, 2017, and was secured by a perfected lien on a 2011 Buick Lacrosse.

As part of Mariner's account opening procedures, specific information including the applicant's name, date of birth, address and identification number are required and verified. Verification procedures also include review of a government issued ID, and copies of these documents are retained with the loan file.

Because Mr. *****'s account remains past due for the March 4, 2018 contractual payment obligation, it is classified as a charged-off account, which remains legally collectable.

Based on our review, the information being provided by Mariner to nationwide credit reporting agencies is accurate.

Should Mr. ***** have specific questions regarding the reporting of the account, he may contact our Customer Relations Department at 844-338-2080. If he would like to make a payment on the account, he may contact our Recovery Department at 888-296-1002.
