      I paid religiously every month until had financial difficulties due to covid and taking care of a sick parent. Called and left messages asking for help with payments told them it was difficult for me to talk during business hours and to just leave me a message with what i could do. They have no way to contact other than phone or actual mail. Website doesnt allow you to make a partial payment which i tried to do. They dont seem willing to work with a customer they have had for almost two years. Very disappointing. Would not recommend

      Customer service at the Dickson, TN branch is horrible.
      I tried a loan over the phone, uploaded all documents and was told the money would be in my account the next day. It wasn't.
      I spent the next two days playing phone tag, being told they would call, but that didn't happen.
      When I called back, I would get one lame excuse after another.
      Very unprofessional. Very high interest rates. I won't be doing business with this company again.

      I started the loan process online and some of my information needed to be verified so I was told to call my local branch. I have called everyday for two weeks trying to get ahold of someone, leaving continuous voicemails. I have not spoken to a single real person. I don't even think this is a real company??? They put a hard inquiry on my credit report and then ghosted me?? I'm not able to speak to anyone about getting my loan processed. The line disconnects every time you call it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

      Got a 4000 loan 2yrs ago and I called to see what the payoff would be they 6000.48 principal payoff or 3604.78 payoff this is a rip off and companies should have a cap on interest run it's not worth it!

      They sent me an unsolicited loan offer in the form of an actual $1,210 check(not a fake check like many). I deposited it into my bank and was told it was a two day hold. After two days passed * saw money was in my account and used to pay off a credit card. Then my bank tells me several days later the Mariner check bounced and charged me $30 returned check fees. On top of which I would have kept more cash in my account instead of paying off credit card if I knew their check was going to be no good. Now I have to somewhat live off the card I payed off rather than having the almost 2k I expected left I my account.

      Gave me an unsecured loan for 3000 plus have paid over a year not one late payment at all asked to borrow 1000 and they won't do it want it secured I'm like you loaned more than that unsecured now you want it secured for 1000 it's ridiculous paying off by end of month and will never do business with this company again this was in Illinois by the way

      False advertising of quick loan process. Mariner Finance ignores phone calls and messages from consumers. Unprofessional and misleading.
