5 starsThey replaced two sliders on my condo and an exterior door. Both gentlemen were very professional, were on time, did an excellent job cleaning up, took a few minutes to show me how the new sliders worked. I am the President of our condo association and have referred Eastern Shore to several other owners.Review fromGeorge G

Installed replacement sliding glass doors on balcony. Job went very smoothly. Installers were very professional and pleasant. Meticulous in attention to detail and quality. There were some delays in acquiring the product due to the usual supply chain issues, but the finished job is excellent and we're thoroughly satisfied.Eastern Shore Window & Door

We ordered an oversized storm door (97 inches length) and a sliding glass door (standard size) from Eastern Shore Window & Door in June 2022. Both were installed in December 2022. The installation delay was due to supply chain issues, as indicated by the owner and the installers. After an initial back and forth with the company, the owner finally heeded our advice that "news we might not want to hear is better than no news at all" and kept us fully up to date on the job's progress. The installers, Shane and Jesse, did a superb job, and the doors are beautiful and of high quality. Shane and Jesse even drove to Lowes 12 miles (one way) to get a piece of trim that was damaged during the removal of the old sliding glass door and that they did not have on their truck. We have experienced delays in most every project we've initiated since moving to Delaware in 2020, all due to interruptions in the supply chain. Overall, although this experience was frustrating at times, it was well worth the wait.Eastern Shore Window & Door

I greatly appreciate your crew's expertise at installing our 14 new replacement windows on November 11, 2022. Please let your crew know how highly I feel about their professionalism and expertise on the job.
I did a final walk around inspection and had some concern about my three front attached windows looking out of square. I have since looked at older pictures of that three window set and see my siding is out of square not the windows! I feel badly that I may have taken away some of their feeling of a job well done. They overcame the rotten frame problems they had to work with around the house, as well as the aforementioned existing issue.
My wife and I are thoroughly pleased with the new windows, your communication along the way and the professionalism shown throughout the process.
Best regards,

Wow, I am so surprised that they have 1 star. We have had our windows for 2 years and have been very satisfied. Today as I was doing my last window it popped out of track w/a loud noise. We tried to put it back but could not so we called Joe Del Grosso on the phone (Saturday). He was so helpful & patient. He talked us thru what we needed to do using our cell phone so he could see what the problem was. We were able to get the job done. I don't believe that many would have taken the time & trouble to help 2 old people with little knowledge of even how to use the phone. We will forever be grateful.Eastern Shore Window & Door

We ordered a window replacement on 8 /3/22 and submitted a check in the amount of $836. We were told someone would call within the next two weeks to come by and measure the window. NO one has ever contacted us and I spoke with Joe one time when he said the guy who measures was out sick. After that I have called and emailed several times with no response. The final outcome should be a refund.Eastern Shore Window & Door

Customer is correct in a perfect world after the 7 day cancellation period we are out to take a final measurement within the following week or two. Unfortunatley our measure tech had a health issue that has kept him away from measures. I was working with him in his attempts to get back to work the last few weeks rather than taking work away from him on top of his illness. Please forgive the delay.Mary B

Eastern shore still has no definite response. Confidence in ability to perform remains. To wait for the 7 day cancelation period to end before you act and then due to an illness you can't act speaks volumes. Buyer beware.Review fromMelissa J

**Poor Quality Work* Two workers came to my house on Tuesday to start the job. Two windows were to be closed off and two new ones put in, in a different location. The wrong windows were ordered (I've been waiting since February). The workers proceeded to close off the other two windows. On Tuesday they knew they needed 2x6 and indicated they did not have them. When they returned on Wednesday to complete the closed up windows, they still utilized 2x4. Not only did they use the wrong materials, they left the job completely unfinished. I knew I was responsible for the painting and spackling. But, I did not intend to have to fill in gaps and wholes and hang plywood. I can completely see through the other side. Joe's response was that the contract was to only close the interior wall. Who only closes one side and leaves the other side with insulation showing? Come to find out that the workers who did the work were actually subcontracted out and do not actually work for the company. In the meantime I've reached out to Joe by text and email several times and have gotten no response. I signed a contract back in February to have two windows closed off and two new ones installed on a different wall. I was initially told a May start date. May has since come and gone and I have been given the run around since. The first excuse was that the materials were delayed. I've now been informed the materials are in, however employees are out due to injury/illness. I have asked multiple times for a potential start date. I selected this company based on being given the May timeframe for the installation as I have another project going on that can not be completed until this work is done. I even asked if I could just have someone come out to close off the two windows (materials would not have been an issue) and I was told they don't have anyone to send out. I have been extremely patient and now am completely frustrated that I'm not getting any answers. They were super quick to take my dEastern Shore Window & Door

I am sorry that we did not live up to your expectaions. The contract specifically stated what was to be done and that is what the installers did. I am sorry that what was stated on contract was not your expectation. Including the color of the windows.Melissa J

The correct materials were not used. My walls required 2x6 not 2x4 as were installed. I have pictures to clearly show this. I now have to hire someone else to install 2x2s to make up for the proper installation. Not sure how you can possibly explain that?Melissa J

The contract did not specify ANY size wood that was needed. My frame clearly needed 2x6 s and 2x4s were installed. I can not understand how you can argue this when I have pictures that you can clearly see this. I now need to hire another contractor to install the proper size.Eastern Shore Window & Door

A 2 x 6 stud was installed between the existing 2 x 6 studs and King studs ... a 2 x 4 stud was used as a backer to reinforce behind the new drywall piece next to the existing 2 x 6
its a 36" opening with 1 new and 2 existing 2 x 6 studs new drywall and insulation as the contract stated.
Please read the contract.
