    I was swindled into purchasing meat from this company and had instant regret and wanted a refund. I submitted a rescind letter within the 3 business day period and tried texting and emailing for updates on my refund to the owner and he never respond to my attempts. I had to submit a report through the office of attorney general. Do not buy from this company. They target low income neighborhoods for easy sales.

    Two salesmen from Champion Meats came to our home late January and we fell into purchasing some of their meats. We highly regret purchasing this meat. We have only eaten about 4 of the steaks and are extremely unsatisfied, it tastes as though the meat has been injected with flavoring. I defrosted a chicken breast and it fell apart in my hands. The quality of this meat is unsatisfactory. Majority of the meat is also freezer burnt and you can see the air gaps in the packaging. The receipt states that the meat is warranted for a year against defective packaging. Nothing about exchanging or returning though. When I contact the company, Jessie was rude and said I had to return within 3 days of purchase and that we could exchange the meat. I told him we do not want anymore meat seeing as it's disgusting and horrible quality. I have since contacted the sales consultant who left his phone number on the receipt with no response. I then emailed the email that has been left on BBB by the company. Again, no response. I hope the company will rectify this situation. I was hopeful they would come pick up the unused meat and give me at least a partial refund. From now on, I will be supporting local farmers who provide quality meat and service.

    We regret that the customer did not have a pleasant experience with their purchase. Our receipt states that the customer must send a letter within 3 business days. The purchase was made in January and the contact via email was received in July (6 months after the purchase). Our products are warrantied for 1 year against defective packaging for exchange. However, we can not refund after a 6 month period.

    I would like to add that yes I emailed in July, however I called in March and spoke to Jessie. Meat that is warranted for a year shouldn't already be bad by January. I wouldn't feed the meat to my dog, let alone let my family eat it. It all went in the trash and unfortunately our money was wasted. But lesson learned... we will never buy again and will support our local farmers instead who offer QUALITY meat. Please do yourself a favor and read these horrible reviews before falling for their scams, I know I wish I did!!

    Terrible product! Shrimp was ok, but filets and T-bone horrible. Tough filets with lots of fat. Quality was poor! Attempted to get refund but only getting the run around and limited response. Deceptive packing. Lots of cardboard minimum quantity along with poor quality. Salesperson reached out to me and offered more product. Why would I want more of the same poor quality? Was willing to pay for what I used, but no luck. Do yourself A favor and go to your local market and you’ll be happier.

    Champion meats is very professional. Maurice was my salesman and he was very pleasant in explaining everything to me. I got chicken and steak and the quality was great. Me and my family enjoyed our meats. Would recommend the company to everyone.

    I had the pleasure of dealing with one of the owners Mr.Kenny and a young man named Anthony after I had seen them showing one of my neighbors some food, our of curiosity I asked what they had and they told me after they finished with Dave they would come show me the prime steak and seafood that they had, my husband and I were a little skeptical at first, but they told me they guaranteed everything for 12 months against freezer burn and we figured it wouldn't let us that long, so we gvit a try and are extremely happy we did, we finished the whole box of peppercorn sirloin the first night, we haven tried all of the seafood but Anthony recommended the hush puppy shrimp which we tried the night after the sirloin and he was absolutely right! The best iver ever had and I am in my 60s and have had quite a lot of shrimp, thank you guys for everything, we already passed your info to our daugters!

    Ridiculously overpriced they charged my husband $200 for two steaks and two bags of shrimp. I could’ve gotten that from Safeway for half of the price. My partner was swindled because he did not know any better and by the time I found out some of this food has already been consumed.

    This outfit Champion Meats LLC are way below average In service and quality to say the least . They took $200 and never looked back considering I texted called and emailed them. I did get one response from the email but to no avail except they were sorry. The steaks I bought I damn near needed a hack saw to cut it . Unhappy customer for sure .
