      BUYERS BEWARE! I purchased a transmission from this company that was faulty. Submitted a warranty claim and received a replacement unit promptly. The issue I had was upon receiving payment for the work I completed. After a month of waiting for my warranty labor payment, I contacted the company just to be told that I would have to wait 90 days before a check will be mailed to me. When I asked to speak with a manager, the call is transferred to a voicemail that never returns your call. I informed the company that I have storage fees for anything that is still on my property after 6 days of completion. They refuse to pay storage fees and continue to put off my payment. This company clearly has problems paying there bills and upholding there warranty.

      I bought a motor from there Feb 2024. Installed the motor and had a part fail withing a day. I called them and got new parts within the week. Its not june 2025 and I still can't them to send me a check for the repairs done at a shop. Everytime I call they say they just sent the check out. I won't do business with them again.

      **Beware of the bait-and-switch tactics. Powertrain Products aggressively markets themselves as offering price matching and great customer service—until you actually ask them to honor that promise. Once I began inquiring about a price match, all communication abruptly stopped. They were eager to sell until it came time to back up their claims.
      If you’re in the market for a replacement engine, I highly recommend shopping around. Check with your local ********, ******** **** *****, or other reputable parts stores—you’ll often find the exact same product with a better warranty and lower price, and from companies that actually stand by what they advertise.
      Save yourself the hassle. Powertrain Products might look good on the surface, but my experience says otherwise.**

      TOTAL SCAM! THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!!
      SO FAR JUST TODAY, I HAVE BEEN ON HOLD A TOTAL OF 4 TIMES TOTALLY OVER 2 HOURS! I KEEP GETTING TOLD THE TECHNICIAN OR WARRANTY PERSON IS READY TO TAKE MY CALL AND THEN I AM PUT ON HOLD AGAIN! i TREID TO REACH THE LISTED PRESIDENT, BUT HE IS "NOT IN HIS OFFICE"
      BBB YOU REALLY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR RATING FORM A- TO F-- I ALSO JUST LEARNED THEY DID NOT SEALD THE READ COVER AND MADE NO MENTION OF IT IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. SMH!

      Do not get a rear axle from this company I got one no I got Three from them all junk then the mechanic gets you to pay again and again power train products only pays very little replacing it I mean very little don't get into this trap

      MY TRANSMISSION FAILED AFTER 3k MILES POWERTRAIN PRODUCTS WONT ANSWER WARRANTY CLAIM , AFTER READING REVIEWS I DONT THINK I HAVE HOPE ! I am deeply saddened I paid a lot of money for this replacement!

      Honestly, this is the worst experience I ever had in my life. I don’t have that much money but the little I have to be scammed for me it hurts really bad powertrain products and company is the biggest scammers I ever seen. I purchase the motor like 4500 I pay 2500 to get it put in. I heard about oil pan. I had to buy an intake manifold the edge had an oil leak. I had to pay to get that fixed 900 and some dollars come to find out the warranty that I have, I have to pay out-of-pocket and wait to get reimbursed and they give you a lot of running around about that then after I get that fixed smoke coming out of my tail pipe. My car had 120,000 miles on it when I bought the engine now my car got 121,660 miles on it with smoke blowing out my tailpipe then I looked at the reviews on here. I’m not the first they just keep going and going and going the same problems with warranty the customer service give you the runaround. Hope I can get some help from BBB

      I submitted my receipts back in September of 2024 for reimbursement and as of May 2025 I have yet to receive payment. I have spoken to several employees who will tell me it’s been accepted for payment but we’re short staffed. I’m going to reach out to the attorney general for guidance, you leave messages for managers who never call back so for me this is insult to injury after purchasing a motor two years ago that went bad only to have it replaced and pay again and can’t some of my money back NOT ALL OF IT, this is crazy

      What a great product and a wonderful overall experience. I dealt with *** and she made it so easy. They shipped out my transmission and it had everything we needed. Even the core return was easy. Very glad I used Powertrain products.

      I’m on my third **** 5.4 ****** engine from powertrain the first being purchased in November 2022 and the last being purchased in August 2024 of which I have yet to receive reimbursement for warranty costs all motors have had timing chain issues Which have yet to be resolved
