      This company prides itself on its customer service experiences. Unfortunately, that customer experience was seen firsthand, and I can say without a doubt that it was nothing that they should be proud of. They have no issues charging a card for products, but you should think twice before expecting them to refund any money that is due, especially if it was because they forgot to include pieces and parts in the first place. One person will be able to refund a card, and the next person says a check has to be mailed per policy. Oh, and you have to call the company at least three times before a check magically shows up the next week. In addition to this, don't expect their motors to be of any good quality. After the installation of the motor by a certified mechanic, the motor was very loud. When the mechanic requested to fix this, he was told " It will quiet down." Here we are about 6 months later and dealing with a loud and leaky motor. Nobody has time to deal with this company and constantly chase them down to fix what should have been fixed upon the initial inspection by the mechanic. I would not recommend this company to anyone, especially if you value your time, money, and the vehicle into which these parts are being installed.

      Fast, accurate and great customer service!
      I needed a new engine for my 3.6L while everyone had long wait times and poor customer service, Powertrain Products went above and beyond and found me an engine and had it here quickly. Thanks again!

      We purchased a motor from Powertrain. Literally they had to keep sending new units. The last unit they actually. 'Lost' the core. We did get the motor to put back in the truck. We have argued and fought with them over the labor claim. Claim is around $1600. Even though their people picked it up they say it is 'lost' and on our company! This is a a crooked and dishonest company!

      They DO NOT DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR. Ordered a replacement engine FEB 2022. They processed the order fast (almost $4,000 including warranty). Expected shipping date 5 weeks. OK. Engine arrived bare, no case or cover of any type, tied to a pallet with rope! Engine was damaged in transit. Engine returned. Young woman in shipping department told us to return it just like they shipped it, which was stupid & unsafe. Waited for replacement engine (#2) to arrive, and used THAT shipping case to return engine #1. Installed engine # 2, only to have it fail after warm up. PP asked us to file a warranty claim which we did in May. They required us to remove & strip engine & return it for inspection. Their inspection noted foreign object damage that they claimed was ingested into the engine by the fault of my (highly experienced at engine swaps) mechanic. We told them the foreign parts had to have already been IN the head in question, and were NOT ingested into the engine from the intake. They then shipped us engine #3, & it too failed after warm up. This engine failed internally in the bottom end, something my mechanic & his staff did not touch. Because of engine #2, they were very reluctant to do anything further with #3. Finally, we had to send them borescope photos showing the pistons were clean, no damage, & inspect & verify NO damage in the heads or top end. We then had to remove engine #3 and return it for their inspection. We are 11 months into this fiasco, with no resolution in sight, and no engine (#4). Engine #3 has been sitting at their place since DEC 3 (5 weeks +) but they have yet to inspect it. Nothing but excuses at EVERY step of the way. PP: STALL, NO HURRY, EXCUSE, NO ACTION. Today, the new warranty guy refused to bump me upstairs, was very rude, and told me he did not know who his boss's boss was (LIE). Simple internet search says EDDIE SYMONDS is the President. EDDIE: IF YOU READ THIS, FIX THIS!

      We are discussing this situation with the customer. Many statements her are not the way things were handled. The failures on both engines were due to valve seat debris from the intake being reused and this was conveyed to the vehicle owner. He is aware and exploring what happened on his end and we are working to help get them back on the road now.

      Powertrain Products Worst remain engine company out there. Claim that they stand behind their product but that's a lie. They sent us a 5.7 hemi that had a lifter tap, after sending them a video of it running and their people agreeing that it was lifter tap they send another engine because they didn't have any lifters. Well 2 months after they received the original engine back they call on 1-4-23 and say they found nothing wrong, and it was due to varnished fuel!!! funny the other one they sent sounds fine so they decide not to pay us for tearing down the original engine for inspection and for changing the engine out. i just want what they owe me with out the lies. Mind you this has been going on since August 22 -2022

      We are sorry to hear your discontent with the warranty procedure. Our finding when the engine was returned were not misrepresented in any way as described. We can provide the supporting pictures of your torn down engine upon request that show exactly why we denied it. The reason your replacement of that engine went fine is likely due to the fact the bad fuel in the injector rails had already been flushed though our engine which then served as a filter for the bad fuel sticking the valves and creating the noise. It appears you may be having some difficulty understanding the outcome and we are more then happy to discuss it at length so you can acknowledge that there were no lies here the failure was due to your vehicle. Which mind you we replaced the engine at no cost to you.

      POWERTRAIN PRODUCTS IS HORRIBLE!!!! DONT BUY FROM THEM! WE ARE AN AUTO SHOP AND THEY SENT US A BAD MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION. WE GET MOTOR IN AND THE HOLES ARE HELACOILED AND HEAD IS DRILLED WRONG. WE CALLED AND SENT PICTURES. THE LADY TOLD US THAT THERE IS NO MORE MOTORS THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO USE THIS ONE AND HOPE FOR THE BEST. THEY HAVE A 1,000,000 MILE WARRANTY. WELL IT MADE IT 900 MILES AND KEPT DYING AND WAS LEAKING ANTI FREEZE FROM BAD HEAD. WE SENT PICTURES AND CONTACTED WITH NO QUICK RESPONCE. WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY WOULD REPLACE HEAD AND TO GET THEM A BILL. THEN THEY SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT FIND A HEAD. WE FOUND OVER 30 PLUS. THEN THEY SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING BECAUSE WE HAD THIS BAD TRANSMISSION SITTING HERE AND WE HAD CANCELLED PAYMENT BECAUSE WE HAD TO SEND OURS OVER TO BE REBUILT AND IT COST MORE MONEY. WE HAD TRASMISSION SITTING AND IN THE WAY FOR 2 WEEKS. THEN ONCE THEY GOT TRACKING NUMBER OF TRANNY THEN THEY CHANGED AND SAID THAT THEY WOULD ONLY PAY TO TAKE OUT MOTOR AND SEND BACK FOR REFUND BUT WE WOULD BE OUT INSTALLING NEW MOTOR WITHOUT A CORE ALSO TO CUSTOMER!!!! WRONG ANSWER!!! WE ARE NOT AT FAULT OR CUSTOMER. PLUS, THEY SENT WRONG GASKETS SO WE HAD TO BUY MORE. THEY NEVER SENT US THE MONEY LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD REPLACE THEM. WE HAD ALSO ORDERED AND TRANSMISSION THAT THEY HAD TO BUILD AND IT WOULD TAKE 3 WEEKS THEN IT WOULD SHIP OUT. WE GET THAT IN AND ITS LEAKING AT GASKETS AND BLACK GUNK COMING OUT EVERYWHERE PLUS OLD BURNT OIL CAME OUT OF PLUG. WE WAITED FOR THIS?!! TOLD THEM TO COME GET IT. I HAVE CANCELLED BOTH MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION PAYMENT. CARD COMPANY HAS ALL DOCUMENTS. I TEXTED DAN AT WARRANTY AND ASKED IF HE THOUGHT WAS STUPID AND TO CALL ME AND HE TEXTED ON MY CELL YEP, STUPID. WOW! DAN CALLED ME AND WAS RUDE. AND HE SAID TRANNY WAS LOST IN SHIPMENT AND THAT IT WAS MY FAULT. DONT THINK SO! LEFT HERE AND THEY ARE THE ONE WHO SENT PAPERWORK. HAD TRACKING NUMBER. TOLD THEM WOULD PAY REST OF MOTOR ONCE HEAD WAS DONE. BAD CO

      Horrible! Bought a 454 for my motorhome. They said that because it was going in a motorhome it wouldn't have a warranty. I didn't think anything about that because I figured a remanufactured engine would be fine. The 454 is pretty tough to mess up. Well I was wrong, they sent me an engine with a dropped valve/dead cylinder. When I called they said tough luck pal. No recourse. They sell defective products. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. THEY SELL GARBAGE. You would be better off going to a junkyard and trying your luck there.

      Customer service was great at first After I received the product and installed it according to all their directions it failed after 250,300 MI and I've been fighting with them for 3 weeks just get an answer on what's going to be done about it only to be asked constantly for more information and then wait another week for a reply I feel like the product received was not the product advertised quality and workmanship definitely not what was advertised
