      Purchased a portable AC unit 05/2022 (BLACK+DECKER BPACT12WT Large Spaces Air Conditioner Portable, 12,000 BTU, White). By 07/2022 unit needed to be returned. Still under warranty so, shipped defective unit back - Great!. In the meantime, had to go purchase another (different brand, different model) to use daily. As of today, 11/02/2022, still have NOT received a replacement unit NOR am I able to obtain ANY update on the status of this replacement. Customer service is a joke (1.844.299.0879) they have no updates, no information and no way of transferring me to anyone nor the ability to escalate my call. If I could get a refund at this point, they can KEEP the unit...I am extremely disappointed, aggravated and sick...that this level of customer service is acceptable. Also, when I call the tool free number listed within the actual included warranty (1.800.231.9786) they give me a different run-around that they are only small appliances and do not handle portable AC units. They can see my information and my warranty exchange...but they too cannot assist with additional information, transferring to anyone else or ANYTHING. Holy ****...this is Customer Service? I am disgusted and beyond frustrated...this is incredible. I will NEVER purchase anything else B&D branded after this experience.
