Lets start with owner Mike C****** calling me a Cheap Racist Ahole , had this company install flooring , baseboard and new shower kit in the basement after a flood. They said it would take a week, at the end of the week they had run short of all the material even though I purchased more that required by the owner who did the quote. They also did several thing incorrectly that now need to be redone including reinstalling the old quarter round on the newly installed baseboard which will now need replacing , not tacking down carpet on the stairs, using bathtub caulking to glue down the transition pieces which is still not dry after a week, not installing a piece going into another room, saying they could make a seamless transition where they couldn't leaving a plank sticking up. Also leaving all the vinyl dust in the driveway saying a shop vac couldn't sweep up dust in the gravel, not setting the walls correctly onto the shower pan leaving large gap between the two. Manufacturer instructions said there should be a 1/32 gap and there is nearly a half an inch it's going to leak.. I had the owner and project manager come out to show them the issues and they tried to explain away every issue even saying it was my fault they ran out of material even though I purchased more than the owner requested. Once I realized they were not admitting to any issues I said they were finished and asked them in no uncertain terms to leave. That's when the owner started getting aggressive and belligerent in front of two other contractors I had doing chimney work. At this point my 70 lb dog came to see what the fuss was about so I grabbed him so he wouldn't shred this guy and asked them to leave several more times but the owner instead of leaving kept turning around and intimidating me , I'm 5'5" this guy is twice my size and half my age so I pick up the first thing I could to protect myself if I had to and said if they didn't leave immediately I would let the dog loose. They finally left.
