  The HMS and TCS crew removed one oil fired furnace from my two-family property and seamlessly replaced it with two independent gas furnaces in four days.No pun intended, they worked smoothly like a well oiled machine! Truly impressive team; from the initial sales visit to watching the duct technician and the amazing furnace technicians place new systems without any interruptions of heat in the apartments.Great Team! Great Project!****

  My husband who had Alzheimers and myself limited to a wheelchair needed to replace our Central Air system. I called ******* because I like to go local when possible. We did NOT have a good experience. Their communication skills were a -10. They replaced our system with one that has a filter somewhere up in the attic rather than in the hallway ceiling where the old one was. They never informed us until they had to return because they left us with no paperwork and when I asked about filters. They had to return 3 times as we needed instructions that we were not given. I asked about heat pumps while they were here and was told our system did not accommodate them. Never were we asked if we wanted heat pumps before I enquired. Then recently on of the contractors I had fiving me estimates to put in heat pumps asked why they were not put in with the air conditioner unit was installed. He could not believe it was not discussed with us at the beginning of the project. I recently lost my husband and feel we were very much taken advantage of. I plan to consult a lawyer. I do not recommend this company at all. A representative came by and while very nice all he offered was an aplogy and informed me to have the unit fixed to use the existing would cut down on efficiency and air quality. He also told me I needed to replace the filtwr every six months which no one bothered to tell me at installation. He did offer to give me an estimate for the pumps but there is no way anyone from ******* is working in anything in my home. His parting comment was that I signed the contract so that was that. I am hoping the court will award me the extra $5000 that this is going to cost me now. Boo on Haleys.

  Good afternoon Peni,

  I am very sorry to hear about the experience you had with ******* Metal Shop. We have been in business for over 100 years and we didn't make it this far by taking advantage of our customers so I assure you that is not our intention. You and your husband called us in 2021 when your air conditioning failed. You asked us for a proposal to replace your air conditioning which we provided you and you signed a contract for us to do this work. We did everything that we said we would do in the contract. In speaking with you in your home, it sounds like your boiler failed over the winter months and now you need to look at alternative heat sources and another contractor suggested heat pumps. In hindsight, a ducted heat pump would have been a great solution but this was not requested by you and you already had heat from your boiler when we were asked to replace your air conditioning. 

  I was the representative that met with you in your home at the end of June and I'm sorry that my visit didn't do anything to alleviate your frustrations.
