      In 2022, I learned that where my heat pump was installed (May 2015) had a slow leak which has caused dry rot around a window frame and the plywood for house foundation is also dry rot. Dave's world came out and looked at it, fixed enough to stop the leaking and also informed me that it was 90% their fault as it wasn't installed correctly. They stated 10% was my fault which I don't believe as I have no other window that had leaked. In 2022, I had 5 windows replaced and there was no sign of water damage. The reason for the leakage was the staff person (who no longer works for them) cut the siding channel and outside wood time around the window which cause the water to drain incorrectly. It took me many a while to get a quote. After I sent to them, I received a letter from the insurance company with a claim #. An Adjuster come out to the house on 11/2/2022 to look at the issue. I have tried calling and emailing. I got a response around Christmas stating the manager was not longer with the company so I had to send the information to Manager ***************** (direct #************). After a couple week, I emailed and called to see if he received the information. I have not heard anything back. I also called the insurance company. I got a call back after a week or so. They stated they weren't sure where everything stands and would get back to me in the following week. That was over a month ago. Claim # ********** I am looking to get the funds to get this repaired. Please note my quote was only an estimate as the walls aren't open up to know the true extent of the damage.

      There is no excuse for this to have dragged on so long. We will continue to put the pressure on our insurance company to resolve this in a much more timely manner. Please expect to hear from us this coming week with some form of resolution.

      Since Dec 14th 2022 I have been without my main source of heat. A heat pump I purchased from ****'s World, It was installed on Dec 11th 2017.I also have a 12 year warranty. I was told that the unit would be replaced under warranty. I never heard from the service manager until I called 2 times then I went in person. I was told that the replacement was sitting by the loading door. Supposedly the approval was waiting on *********** Then I called ********** and they told me that they didn't have the paperwork. It needs to be filed by the distributor. So I asked who the distributor was and was told they didn't know. I'm really frustrated with both parties involved
