      I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent service We had two visits from *****, and both raised serious concerns:First Visit:***** arrived late and came unprepared, without the necessary tools to properly diagnose the issue.He simply cleared an error from the remote and told us nothing was wrongwithout investigating further.Second Visit:He called ahead to say he would be early and, this time, claimed to have the tools needed for a full diagnosis. This implies he did not have the proper tools during the first visit.He diagnosed the system as needing a new coil, 98 oz of refrigerant, and stated there was a refrigerant leak.This diagnosis was not only incorrect, but also extremely costly. If we had followed his recommendations, we would have spent over $1,200and the system still would not have worked.We sought a second opinion and paid only $356 (including trip charge). The system was properly diagnosed, and the real issue was fixed:It was not the coil,There were no leaks,And no refrigerant was needed.We are left questioning where the 98 oz of refrigerant figure even came fromthis seems like an attempt to pad the bill unnecessarily.Its extremely troubling that some customers rely solely on their heat pumps for heat, and yet this company sends out technicians who either lack the training or the tools to properly diagnose problems. Worse, they suggest unnecessary and expensive repairs.

      My contractor met with, and I talked on the telephone with the salesman. I asked for the weekend to consider all my options and was it was strongly suggested by the salesman that I submit the down payment immediately because they were going to start to get busy and may not be able to fit me in for six or so weeks. I subsequently called the office that day, gave them the required 50% deposit and I signed the contract. The next day I was called by the salesman to tell me that oops their software update had not added the accessories which added ~$4000 more to the original quote. They were unwilling to admit their mistake and honor the contract that was signed. They did refund my deposit within a reasonable amount of time.

      Totally agree with **************** and switch. Days before installation the said they needed a bigger unit. Original two day installation turned into five. No communication between management, sales and installers. After one days work Regional manager shows up with crew and hauls equipment away. Didnt bring deposit check with him. Leaves us without heat less than one week before Christmas.

      I met with a Daves World salesman, signed a contract and paid the required 50% down payment on 8/31. The installation was scheduled for 10/7 which was 5 weeks out. Two days before the install they called to tell me they did not have the unit I contracted and paid for and tried to sell me another brand or a smaller unit of the same brand (which the sales person said would not be appropriate for my situation). Believe I was a victim of bait and switch tactics.
