If I could give negative stars I would! We signed with coastline homes owned by Schiavi in February 2024. Told this would be a ******************************************************************************************** date would be July 26th worst case scenario. No site work was even started u til July, here we are now the end of December and still not in our home. No plumbing has been done, still waiting for electrical. But they spent weeks patching cracks on the sheet rock for it to just crack again due to no heat being in the home. The communication is non existent except when they want to put blame on anyone other than themselves. All we have heard is lie after lie and after we had reached our breaking point we asked for a in person meeting, one hour prior to this meeting they send a email answering the main questions we were asking for months and expected us to cancel the meeting because we had answers nope absolutely not. In this meeting we were feed more lies to just get us out of the office without causing a scene. And now when we call them out on their lies were are told we are being hurtful, cynical and condescending. Um hello we have four kids and they were promised to be in the home for the holidays only to have 0 work completed for over a month because of their poor time management and lack of planning. Here were are almost a year after signing on to a 20 week project and they still havent even hired a plumber ( after we have been told twice now that their in house plumber could do it- then couldnt do it- then magically could again. This has been the worst experience of our lives, weve never been more stressed out and our kids are now being effected. This is where I draw the line. Schiavi is robbing ***** to pay **** and if you sign on with them this will happen to you too. They are using peoples loans to cover expenses on other projects. Cant wait for this project to be completed to never hear the name again

We originally bought the home from coastline homes of Oxford which is owned by schiavi. From day one all we had were problems, lack of communication between the General contractor (Coastline/schiavi) and any of the sun contractors they had hired to do the build, they missed every single deadline they gave us and the house was 4 months late getting set on the foundation. The entire time we were waiting on the house nobody at schiavi would give us any answers as to why our deadlines were missed. Fast forward to when the house was finally set on the foundation, we were delayed another deadline until our move on date, all of these missed deadlines put our financing in jeopardy. We finally got the okay to move in and immediately we noticed that there were outlets that were inoperable, and when you plug something into them the breakers were immediately tripped. It turns out the electrical panel was wired wrong from the factory, a very BIG deal that the factories quality control missed, as well as schiavis inspectors missed. We got that sorted but then not even a month of living there the counter tops and backsplashes started peeling and the support for the warranty work was very disappointing and we were stuck waiting months for any trouble ticket we put in. Our dishwasher is currently still broken and has been since February with no support from schiavi. Whirlpool doesnt service the area so I had to get schiavi to do the warranty work of the dishwasher, from February 2022 to present day July 2022 if has been an absolute nightmare dealing with this mess of a company. This dishwasher is still not fixed, schiavi told me to go directly to whirlpool and gas not answer my emails since. They do not care about any kind of quality of their work or about their relationship with their customers. This is a very lackluster and unprofessional company that lacks the basic skills of customer service that any halfway decent company should have. I only wish I had more words to write.

Dear *****************. Thank you for your critique of the economy in general and Schiavi Homes more specifically. If you are paying attention to the world around you, you know full well there are many unprecedented challenges facing the economy today and Schiavi Homes, try as we might, cannot escape the problems that arise when the global supply chain is in shambles and there is no work force. I will hire 15 people today if they are willing to show up. That is a very low bar. Just show up. Naturally, when no one who isn't already working doesn't want to work, company like ours cannot produce products that people want to buy. Hence, the supply chain debacle. Beyond these issues, which I hope you can understand, the warranty that comes with your appliances is provided by the appliance manufacturer. I don't have appliance technicians at my construction business. In conclusion I am sure your families construction business is suffering many of the same problems. I hope no one is spewing nasty reports of how horrible it is for folks to do business with them due to circumstances beyond their, and my, control. Best of luck in the future. Sincerely, *********************
