  Matchmakers of Maine are easily accessible, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with! The negative comments seem to be from frustrated people who did not find love. Finding that person takes time and self reflection. I would recommend this company not necessarily because I found that person but I learned a lot about myself and had a lot of fun! Thank you!!!

  I highly do NOT recommend **** services. The Matchmaker if Maine found me a match of a man who lived and worked out of state and visited Maine maybe once a month, if that. The match had a completely different day-to-day work and life schedule than me too so we couldnt even get a first date scheduled in a reasonable timeframe and we had absolutely nothing in common. The second match *** presented to me was laughable too. At that point *** said he would give me a refund, then changed his tune and said he never agreed to a FULL refund, but would give me half my money back, but I had to sign a contract stating I would not write a bad review on him like this one. Needless to say, I so wholeheartedly felt taken by this man that I decided not to sign the contract, forfeit any refund at all and be able to warn YOU not to work with him. Working with *** was terrible. He never followed through or called back when he said he would, delivered false promises, baited and switched. Buyer beware!!

  Matchmaker of Maine is a very professional service. They work diligently to find the right match for you and answer all of your questions and concerns along the way. I've had nothing but a positive experiences with the team, and they've been very understanding when a match doesn't work out. They keep trying until you're happy! I would definitely recommend it for those who are tired of the online dating apps.

  I signed up with The Matchmaker of Maine almost 1 year ago. I am currently on "hold"....my choosing. I'll go "live" again this Spring. I have nothing but great things to say about the owner and his staff. He has always communicated well with me via text, phone call or email. If he thinks he has someone I'd be interested in, he calls me and gives me a bit of background info, and then asks if I'd be interested in reading the guy's profile. A friend of mine just recently informed me that he read a complaint on BBB regarding The Matchmaker. I went in to read it. Boy! I can hardly believe the complainer and I are talking about the same person! The owner is very respectful to women. VERY! And he is extremely fair! Here's an example: last year I had taken myself off "HOLD" for about a month. But I hadn't been sent any profiles for potential partners. I called the owner and asked to be put back on hold and that I'd call back in the Spring of 2023 to go "live" again. He credited back my membership for that whole month. I hadn't even asked for that. He is so kind and generous. The person writing the complaint mentioned not getting any prospects yet and wanted a refund. Well, the membership time doesn't start ticking until you get that first phone call from a prospective partner, so if their time wasn't running out, I'm not sure why they'd be demanding a refund. At any rate, I just wanted to say that I think that complainer is dead wrong! Not sure what their problem is, but it's more than likely not really with The Matchmaker of Maine! :)

  The Matchmaker of Maine is an excellent, upfront and honest business. I have enjoyed working with them as a client, and they have treated me with the upmost respect! They are very communicative, and work diligently on your behalf to secure potential matches and make you feel comfortable, safe and secure while doing it. I highly recommend doing business with The Matchmaker of Maine! *** and his team are the best at what they do and are extremely professional and respectful. After years and years of "dating" all the wrong individuals online, I finally made the right choice to connect with the The Matchmaker of Maine. The team wants to ensure all your needs are met with the best matches possible, and gather many details about who you, who you are looking for, and what you want. *** works very hard to do all he can to give you the best matches possible and ultimate success! The team is very communicative, supportive, and I can honestly say I do not regret this process at all. It really helped me focus on my life and work, while allowing The Matchmaker of Maine to focus on my love life. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars, and I tell everyone I know in Maine about The Matchmaker of Maine that got me off the Dating Apps and into something real. Thank you *** and team!
