Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Apple **** regarding an issue with my Apple ID and recent subscription purchases.A few days ago, I spent over $10,000 USD on various subscription services through the Apple App Store. These were monthly subscription payments, all charged to my credit card. However, just days after completing these payments, my Apple ID was inexplicably suspended, preventing me from accessing any of the subscription services I had paid for. This suspension has caused significant financial damage, as I am unable to use the services I purchased, and I have been unable to secure a refund for these transactions. I have contacted Apples customer service multiple times, but they have been unable to provide any assistance in resolving the issue.I am urgently requesting that Apple:Reinstate my Apple ID immediately.Refund the full amount of over $10,000 USD that I spent on subscriptions, which I can no longer access due to the suspension. The fact that this occurred only days after I made these payments has put me in an extremely difficult financial situation, and I am seeking your help to address this issue promptly.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your assistance.Sincerely,**** *************, *** Email: ********************

I accidentally clicked on accepting $39.99 ($42.49 total including taxes) for a heart monitor app. When I realized I hit the wrong button I contacted Apple within an hour or less, and cancelled the subscription. However, when I cancelled it said I can use it for a year. I didnt want it, and was looking for a refund as the whole thing was an accident. They gave no option to get a refund and no phone number to dinner them. After about 1/2 hour googling for a number I finally called and was able to contact someone in Apple. I explained everything and they said it was up to apple team? Or something to review it and determine. I went in the site they supplied and explained my situation. I even wrote they can check and see that I cancelled it within an hour. After a day I decided notification they denied it. It gave me another opportunity to be reconsidered and I did. Well today I decided another notice that it was denied again. I dont think its fair someone accidentally hits the wrong button to purchased something (especially a 72 year old elderly) and when they realize it within 5-10 minutes cancel the subscription and fully informed them and that I didnt want it and have no desire to use the app.

On Thursday 2/22/24, *****************, the manager, phoned the police on a man who was homeless and mentally ill. He was recovering from a long period of sleep depravition, a symptom of a schizophrenic episode. The man was apparently quietly muttering to himself, also a symptom of a schizophrenic disorder. In a separate experience that I personally experienced around mid December, I was also told to leave while waiting for a taxi to pick me up, inside due to bitter cold temperatures. I informed them that I was waiting for that taxi, and was told again just to leave; having been homeless for a long time until around that moment, I usually would have been profiled also as homeless. This is now recognized as a theme of not allowing homeless people in that store, regardless of the reason being in there. There is no sign addressing loitering anywhere on or in the building. Two further elaborate, the ice cream on the cake, sad thing is that this man would have been classified as one who needed medical treatment, and the responding officer dropped him off just run the corner, stating that the man could not return to the business for 24 hours, with no written paperwork. Therefore he was lied to, and made you believe there is a temporary no trespass that did not exist. I last saw that poor man walking away in the rain terrified about where he would go in that cold.I view this as nothing short of intentionally putting a confused commentally handicapped person in a potentially dangerous common situation, simply due to the fact that he was homeless, as a prejudiced bias against his income and class level. This was a form of profiling due to illness which is protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act and this man was put into danger for that reason and this is illegal and malicious. My desired outcome? There's manager should be fired and charged with something for what he did. If it is happened twice that I know of, it is statistically bound to happen again.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.

My Complaint is in regards to the way at the matter was handled. It is common sense, but yes, your employees are not trained in that; has a customer service representative, you are obligated to treat each individual as a human being with respect. It is in my opinion that the management and employees called police on a man was not doing anything illegal. I believe Beyond reasonable doubt that this person was profiled and action was taken based on a stereotype and his homeless status. This is social class discrimination, and there was absolutely when this person was doing nothing wrong call or not posing any threat. This is also with the knowledge that this person has told other people that they cannot be in the store because of their home status. Their personal bias against low income has already been established. This is social class discrimination, and that is not appropriate for customer service.

[You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.  If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.]

Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

I tried to update an app on my iPhone. The app will not update because I needed to provide a billing card. I contacted Apple support and found that I had a subscription that I wasnt aware of and they would not renew my app account until the balance is paid despite the fact, I told him I didnt order it. The service of Apple was rude and condescending.

On 11/2/22 between 10:35-10:40 AM I brought in 3 winning scratch off tickets worth $11 total to cash in towards my purchase at the Big Apple store in *********, **. I bought $40 in ****, 2 bottles of water ($2.32), a pack of crackers ($1.19), 2 powerball tickets ($6) and 4 scratch off tickets ($16). The total tax was $0.19. A total of $65.70. I was charged $76.70. They CHARGED me for my winning tickets worth $11 instead of crediting me. So not only did I not get my $11 winnings, they charged me $11. They owe me a total of $22 (the $11 they erroneously charged me plus the $11 for my winning tickets they never credited me). I went back to the store with my receipt when I realized what they had done. I was told I had to wait for the manager to return. I waited over 45 minutes after being told "the manager would be right back". I left my name and number and asked for the manager to please call me when they returned so that I could get this rectified. They never called me. I'm extremely frustrated with this as they made an error and have failed to rectify it. I just want the $22 that is owed to me.
