We hired Two Men and a Truck to do 2 moves for us. One in April 2022 and the second this past weekend. The first move went great. The second was a horrible experience. We had far less stuff than the first, the largest items not being moved the second time was a big sectional couch and a king size bed.The website for the movers asks you to estimate the number of boxes you will have and then do an inventory by selected the items they list as being in each of the rooms. The first move I overestimated by a great deal (did not present an issue) and the second move I was a bit more conservative in my approach and estimated 80 boxes. From the moment the movers showed up, the supervisor of the crew complained that we had more than 80 boxes and proceeded to tell my wife that they may not be able to move all of our stuff. He said, as an example, if we take those 2 kayaks we may not be able to take some of the boxes. My wife called me at our new house location to let me know what the guy said. I asked to speak to him and explained that all of the stuff in our house, which was far more stuff, fit last time. He said that he did not say what my wife said and that they were going to try to fit what they could. He got off the phone and was then rude to my wife as he berated her for what he called miscommunicating what he said.I called the shop and got lectured by the manager on communication processes, while he basically said that the stress of moving could have made my wife mishear something. He said we were just third parties to a communication and he was not going to go back and forth with me on the phone about it.Needless to say, the movers loaded the truck horribly and magically were not able to fit it all in. Funny thing is that I took pictures of the truck when they arrived at my house and it was not even close to full. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had!!! Unfortunately, this site limits characters or I would have more to say for sure!
