1 starBell Tire Camby IN, I took my vehicle in for four new tires and an alignment, expecting the service to take about an hour and a half to two hours. Unfortunately, it ended up taking three hours because the alignment was not calibrated correctly. The shop apparently lacks the necessary software to calibrate all the vehicle's functions after an alignment, which has led to crash detection and braking codes being triggered. When I inquired about clearing the codes, I was informed that they had not attempted to do so because of legal issues. Instead, they simply mentioned that the codes appeared after the calibration. Using my own scan tool, I diagnosed the issue and confirmed that the calibration was incomplete. Since I don't have the software required for proper calibration, I will need to visit the dealership to have it done correctly, ensuring that my vehicle operates as intended. When I contacted bell tire to report that the calibration had not been completed, they informed me that they were unable to proceed due to a lack of the necessary software. Essentially, they conveyed that there was nothing they could do to resolve the issue. I paid for a wheel alignment, but unfortunately, my vehicle wasn't calibrated correctly afterward. I recommend avoiding this place for Toyota alignments unless they can guarantee proper calibration. I believe it's important to recognize that the technician shouldn't bear the full responsibility for the situation. Instead, I would attribute more of the blame to management and the establishment for not equipping the technician with the necessary tools to effectively service a diverse range of vehicles.Review fromLeanne S

1 starI purchased Michelin tires for $1000 plus extra for extended warranty. It was supposed to cover “free rotation” of tires. Last time I went in for tire rotation, no problem. Except I needed to schedule appointment. Which I did. Service staff told me I needed to have an alignment done as one side was off. I agreed and paid $141.99. I was encouraged to buy one year alignment protection plan, which I did. I went in today at 10 am to try and set up tire rotation and alignment check. There was one man in the lobby and two employees covering the desk. One employee ignored me as he was typing on his computer. I waited patiently for someone to ask how they could help. After 10-15 mins both staff were at their computers and continued to ignore me. Than one left his desk went outside for several minutes, returned to his station and continued to ignore me. The other staff left his post and went into Bay Area than came back out and both ignored me standing there. After 1/2 hour I walked out to take spouse to appointment.. around 11:30 am I checked online for another Belle Tire nearby. They had worse star rating than this one. On line it said I could schedule an appointment. So I scheduled a 3pm appointment. My confirmation said when I arrived I would be given the next open bay upon my arrival. I waited from 3pm until 5:20pm to find out that my car hadn’t been even brought into any bay. They close at 6pm. I was told when I arrived it would be 2 hrs for work to be done. I waited 2 hrs and 20 mins and my car was still waiting. There were at least 3 empty bays and I watched as they drove other vehicles in and left mine set. I asked if they were ignoring my car as it was warranty work, they refused to answer. I was told I should have asked and they would have told me not to schedule an appointment on line. I told them I tried at 10am to ask but was ignored for 1/2 hour with no one else at desk. I was then told “we are very busy” ! Work not doneReview fromAngela M

1 starI went in to get an oil change done on my 2013 Chevrolet Sonic on February 1st 2025 and got charged a total of $108.55 for an oil change and oil filter. A ended up taking my car to a local mechanic shop on Tuesday March 4th 2025 and the mechanic ended up looking at the oil today where he noticed that the oil was black in color as well as a dirty oil filter so bad to where it looked pretty disgusting to me. As a result, I had the mechanic at that local shop change the oil as well as inspect the car just in case where the oil problem is now taken care of and the few problems he noticed that are not related to the incident that occurred at Belle Tire will be taken care of within the best timely manner.Review fromBradlee M

1 starI called bell tire Wednesday to set up an appointment for my tire rotation. I was informed they do not take reservations for tire rotations and are completed on a first come first serve basis. Thursday morning I arrived before the store opened and was the first ******** at 8am. There were 3 representatives at the desk and all theee were already on a phone answering calls. I waited till one was available and motioned for me to come to the desk as others arrived and lined up behind me. I was informed my vehicle would be the first walk in completed. I waited 7.5 hours! For my vehicle tire rotations. Was not updated in a timeframe, had to keep asking and calling asking when my vehicle would be completed every time the answer was the same your vehicle is next it will be an hour. I am very frustrated at the disrespect for my time waiting and watching other ********s come and go as their vehicles were completed and they arrived after me. I purchased my tires from ********* but will take my business elsewhere where I am taken in order of walk in as stated. They are only interested in your initial purchase but do not follow through on the follow up maintenance in a timely manner.Review fromAndrew H

1 starSuspected this for awhile and now have confirmed. Bought new tires at this business and as usual, after installation the sales *** comes out with estimates for work they "just happened to notice". This is not the first time. According to them the truck was way out of alignment, but they couldn't fix that. The reason why was all the front ball joints were severely worn and the front steering arms were loose and worn (truck has less than ******* miles on it). And it needed new shock absorbers. Estimate to fix that was $5200+. I took the truck to my ** certified mechanic and asked for a from end inspection, specifically on the ball joints and steering arms but didn't tell them why. They had two different techs inspect and found absolutely nothing worn, loose or out of align.Belle Tire on ******************** trued to scam me out of $5200.Don't do business thereReview fromCheryl D

1 starDeceptive practices, without a doubt. On 11/1/24 Belle Tire in *. ********* told me I needed the rear seal replaced on my truck. ******. The y discovered this while changing the oil and replacing the CV boot, front drivers side. They wrote up an estimate for the rear seal work to be done in another scheduled visit. Ok. However, to my surprise, they also said my rear brakes were DEFECTIVE and needed replaced. I hadnt had any problems with braking but set an appt for 11/7, giving me enough time to get a second opinion. I took my truck into an independent repair shop. They agreed, as did I, that the rear seal needed to be fixed. They took care of it in that visit and charged me $77.00 less than Belle Tire. They brought me out after removing the rear wheels to check the brakes and said there is nothing wrong with your brakes. In fact they have 80% life left. It will be some time before they need replacing. When I was finished there I drove immediately to Belle Tire to confront them. I asked what they based their recommendation on for new brakes. Said they were covered in fluid/oil from the rear seal. Although possible with a leak like that, it was not the case on my truck. They recommended over $800.00 of work that was not needed. They didnt even look at the brakes. The Mgr, Dallas, told me it was recommended the work as a preventive. Please explain to me what replacing near perfect brakes prevents. He had no answer. I did call corporate and was contacted by a regional Mgr. That was 56 minutes of my life that was wasted. I waited for **** to say that Belle Tire does not tolerate deceptive practices and he would look into it immediately. He never said it. Said he was going to be stopping in there next week and would talk to them about it. That shows no level of concern. I am a retired 67 year old woman they were going to take advantage of. I have more to tell about 2 others (neighbor and a friend) who vow to never go back to **.Review fromMichelle K

1 starMy husband brought our Jeep Patriot in for an alignment and while he was sitting in the waiting room waiting for them to even bring the car in to get that request done a representative called him and told him that there is a bunch of loose parts on the vehicle. Now take note that they were trying to sell parts and work before they even brought our vehicle in. When he responded that the car doesn't have any loose parts, and they haven't even moved the vehicle form the spot, yet they told him it must have been a different Jeep Patriot. Then once the alignment was complete on and the invoice was inquired it still had a note stating that our vehicle had a bunch of loose parts that would need to be replaced. My husband has been a mechanic in the past and already looked over our vehicle before the alignment needed to get done and 100% there were no loose parts on our Jeep Patriot.
