I would not recommend Gold Star Financial. My ** was *********************. They were very unorganized, they didnt know what forms they needed from me to ask for. They were hard to get in touch with for not only me but my realtor as well but when they needed information they wanted to rush me as if its wasnt due to their lack of organization. They did not inform me on information that should be explained to a first timer. When asked could the appraisal be explained I was told it was good & as is but yet it was subject to improvements. This caused my first time purchasing experience to be a nightmare. I was told to borrow out of my 401k to close 4 days before the closing expected closing date. The ** was definitely in it for there personal gain and not to help me get the best deal.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to respond. While Gold Star strives to make the mortgage loan process smooth and easy for our borrowers, inevitably there are pitfalls and delays along the way, many of which are out of either Gold Stars or the borrowers control. We would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about this situation. Please email us at ********************* so that we can better address your review.

They are calling under different phone numbers constantly and I want it to stop.It is disturbing when they say "this is Pat, you are on a recorded line" and I tell them I don't know who they are calling but it isn't me and NEVER CALL ME AGAIN and they continue. The last one wa today and it was from a area code in my area. I assumed it was a phone call from my Dr which I was waiting for. He would not stop talking and I hung up after saying do not call again. This is such an invasion of privacy.

They have been calling three or more times a week, harrassing me to refinance even though I have asked them numerous times to stop calling me. They are absolutely relentless...I would use them under any circumstances because either they are too stupid to understand No or they lack the professional integrity...Talk about being a bunch of ******, but they burned any future chances with me

Gold star mortgage did not pay a family member of mine 30 hours of accrued vacation and sick time in direct violation of ******** labor laws.

      Gold Star Mortgage

      Date: 10/28/2022

******** labor laws do not require an employer to pay an employee for unused accrued vacation and sick time at separation unless the employers policy specifically states otherwise. In ********, employers are permitted to establish a policy that denies employees their accrued vacation and sick leave at the time of separation. In ********, Gold Stars current policy is to not pay employees unused accrued vacation and sick time at the time of separation. This policy is clearly set forth in Gold Stars Employee Handbook, which is required to be signed by every employee.
