      Sadly, I have not been able to participate in the facilities or their offerings due to an illness. I informed Outdoor Adventures that I would not be able to pay due to the illness, bills, and potential loss of home. Within a few months my account was turned over to a collection agency. I am disappointed that I was not able to work with the company on releasing me from the contract since I have not been able to take advantage of their facilities.

      We were pressured into a membership back in 2019. Little did we know, our sales person started a credit card for both my husband and I. His credit card had purchases on it for a smaller amount than mine. Our sales person essentially charged our membership to each of our cards. Luckily his credit wasnt as good as mine at the time, and they didnt charge his for alot. Now I have over ***** left to pay on a credit card, that I didnt purchase anything on! When I called Outdoor Adventures they stated they could do that & its part of their contract. Stay far away from this place!!!

      *******, weve reviewed your original agreement with Outdoor Adventures and it clearly states the terms of the financing. In March 2021, you also signed a voluntary membership release agreement that stated you are responsible for any third party financing without a refund. Your membership has been terminated and you have no obligations to Outdoor Adventures. Outdoor Adventures has been in business for over 28 years and we have many happy campers that enjoy our premier amenities and campground resorts.

      They tried to get me today. I didn't fall for it. The guy we worked with cut me off and insulted me many times. Telling me I am average and just can't afford it. Asked my significant other if she stayed at a nudist resort when she said she stayed in *******. We were conned into attending the meeting after I bought a camper from Camping World. To everyone on here who has bought this deal and regrets it, rest assured I will use up every last one of the 21 free days they gave me for the meeting. And then I will never go back. I hope you all find legal counsel to guide you through the cancellation of what seems like a fraudulently misleading coerced signing of a contract.

      Do not get sucked into this deal. Everything they tell you are lies. It's a very high pressure sale. No time to think. Then you're paying on a loan you regret for a campground that's always filled or makes you reserve at least 2 nights. And it's more expensive than you are told. You are told many things at the time of the presentation, but its all just sales c*** that aren't true. I regret buying this and would give anything to get out of it. I have been paying over a year on something I have not been able to use. I cracked under their pressure and bought it. Now I will be paying for a piece of paper for years to come. The price on everything goes up constantly, the availability is none. You can pay a few thousand dollars more for an "OPT" out. That was hilarious when they tried selling me that one.That's when I knew I had been suckered!

      One word: SCAM The contract we cannot get out of now and I already paid 10k in fees. Now I have to pay a maintenance fee and they didnt even send me a bill they just charge it out of my account without my consent. This is not right. I will be calling them to complain. I want out of my contract now!

      I felt deceived as the $588/year maintenance fees were not fully disclosed!! For our 10 year membership thats over another 5k!!! The membership cost was explained fine. But no mention of recurring maintenance fee. Yea, yea, its somewhere in the contract but I felt like this was not mentioned on purpose! Had I known this I would have not joined!!!

      The salesman did not make mention of it. I had 3 other ppl with me and they said they never heard it either. I trusted what I was signing was what I was told. Yes, I shouldve read every word or the contract but your ppl shouldve made sure we were aware. Yes, our stay at *********** was nice. But 5k in maintenance fees when Im already paying 8k? Thats ridiculous. You would think 8k would include your parks upkeep. I will pursue either having the maintenance fees waived or getting out the contract all together. And will be talking to a lawyer soon.

      These people are predators. They sell you a membership and then every year they change rules and add fees. I have no complaints about any of their campgrounds, but their never-ending policy changes should be grounds for breach of contract suits. A few years back, they changed the rules on reservations for secondary members to where they couldn't make reservations until the week before on holiday weekends, which was somewhat understandable as a means to allow primary members first dibs. Now they make up holidays so secondary members basically get screwed ALL the time. People put in for vacation time at work FAR longer than a week out, only to have to wait until everything is booked to find out they can't utilize their membership at Outdoor Adventures- this is also BS for primary members who want to have a family weekend. Outdoor Adventures' answer to this is "go to one of our other locations"- my answer is, stick your other locations up your caboose.Now, they have also changed the free camp site benefit. Used to be able to go to one of the campgrounds, find an open spot and register at the office (for free). NOW, they charge you a $15 reservation fee, with NO reservation! They don't even pick up the trash anymore, which should STILL be included, since they charge maintenance fees every year on top of the ridiculous membership fee. You'd think they would at least still pick up the trash, since half of the golf carts are always "out of service" so the employees can cruise around on them.These memberships are sold as "family memberships", yet RARELY can the secondary members on the account all go camping together. I have personally only been able to use the membership 2 times in the past 6 years because of their ridiculous reservation policies, which also led my parents (the primary members) to have to go elsewhere when they wanted to have family get togethers. Outdoor Adventures is a bait and switch scam. Buyer beware...

We make changes based on many factors, but our goal is to always do what is best to make the experience best for everyone. The company-recognized holidays have not changed and we've observed these holidays for many years. We also discontinued trash pickup because we found the resorts actually stayed cleaner because birds and other animals don't tear apart trash bags left out by the side of the road. We have 9 beautiful resorts in ******** for our members to use, and we're sorry to hear you don't want to try our other ones, but each one is different and has its own unique experience.
