It's a rip off. They asked for money after the zoom meeting. I declined. Several days later, I received a text message asking 1/4 less the amount ($39) to start becoming an actress. I set up and sent photos and all of a sudden, I can't log in, nor can my information be pulled up. It's a scam

They scammed me into attending an interview then charging me for for being there when no notice was given. They used gaslighting to trick myself into thinking I was attending a real casting call

I got a text message or an email from them to be invited to Zoom. Once on Zoom with a person named herself *****, after explaining how the business works, she went ahead and got to the monetary business $100 to start and monthly $39.00 thereafter with forgiveness for the 1st month. I first went to the link she sent us all on Zoom https://app.nine9.com/a/tostart/ where it goes straight to your credit card info. I felt funny about that as I would hear her thanking others for registering for the service and telling us all that "those subscribed would be getting casted immediately". I did think about it, I don't have a job right now so, I'm not in the position to be throwing money around to some people I don't know!! I freaked out a little and Googled them and came across you guys, thank God!!!I took a few pictures of her, by the way, if you guys at BBB need them as any sort of evidence.EMAIL FROM THEM:Nine9 <************** at nine9talent.com> Jan 2, 2023, 10:10 AM (1 day ago)to me This is to confirm your Virtual Open Call appointment on Tuesday at 11:00a.The Open Call will take place online via Zoom so use your smartphone, tablet or computer. I ASKED FOR K** FROM NINE9.COM I DIDNT WISH TO RECEIVE ANYMORE COMMUNICATIONS FROM THEM, I sent messages as follows: " OK, upon reviewing the credentials provided to me by the Better Business Bureau, I decline any further interaction or offers provided by Nine9.com or any of its entities, please remove me and all of my contact information from your contact/advertisement list Thank you." K** from nine9 responded "OK, if you have any availability in the future and are interested to join our Open Call, please feel free to reach out. I'll remove your number, thanks" I resp "No, please remove my emails too, I wish to cease and desist any and all future contacts as well thank you." And then I get a message today "Courtesy reminder that your Virtual Open Call starts in a few minutes. Go to https://zoom*********** and sign in with your first and last name." Three different numbers contacted me via text about a talent interview. I did not know what the h*** this was; a person said casting call. This is a scam. Very odd to be hounding me when I am not even in the entertainment business. But I am adventurous and thought, what the hell? I was curious, so I googled this company and located them on BBB - I texted them back, letting them know I reviewed their BBB and asked that they please remove me from their lists. They did respond that I was removed, at least.

I got a text from them this morning asking if I was eligible for a zoom interview tomorrow. I didn't know who they were and googled them and found out they are a scam agency. I told them that I had googled them and said to stop texting me....well, they have been texting me for about an hour now, even though I told them they were a scam agency. I am going to block their number from my cellphone. That agency should be closed down and taken into custody for false advertising....so many women have lost money with them...not knowing it is a scam. I, am a seasoned model/actress, and knew they stunk from the get go...so be aware of them...they are scammers.

I was just on a virtual open call on yesterday and everything sounded good until he said you don't have to have your camera on. I didn't hear anyone voice besides ******* the host. Luckily I caught on to the scam as soon as he asked for money. This is sad that they play with people lives during these hard times. Something needs to be done about this.

I saw an AD on instagram for a Casting Call for Half Baked 2I signed up for it. I got on the Call but the lady started mentioning many other casting and modeling jobs. I had no idea there was a fee but I was immediately directed to a payment page at end of short video where I was told to pay $99 fee with a reoccurring charge. I looked over the reviews and realize I been scammed and would like a refund and no further billing to occur

Nine9 is a total scam, taking advantage of the many people who'd love to be paid to model or act. Real Agents here in Northern ********** all confirm this is a total scam.NO agency asks you for money up front or at any time! If THEY get you a job, THEY get paid. Period. And their "interviews" show utter lack of professionalism, and are group meetings, signing people up by the droves.. taking advantage of people.

I work in Tech and I too was kinda suspicious of this until they sent a link and it asks for a cc number.. 100% SUS and you would be better off going to Central Casting in LA than though an online scam.
