      I went into ***'s sporting goods in ***** today 12/17/22. I picked up an item that was marked as $11.97 with one of their price stickers. There was probably another 10 on the shelf all priced the same. When I got to checkout it scaned at $24.99. I told the cashier that the price was wrong. She pulled the item back out of the bag looked at it an said " I need to call someone to check". She called someone in the back of the store, hangs up the phone and tells me " the manager said you can't have it for the $11.49 but she will let you have it for $16.49" I told her "no the tag says $11.49 and there is alot more on the shelf all priced the same" she responded " yes the manager said there was a bunch on the shelf but someone priced them wrong so she was taking the tags off and changing them". I asked about the scan law and getting it for the price that is marked on my item, another male work interrupted and said it doesn't apply to this because you have not paid for the item. So they marked it to $16.99 and I bought it, I then said well now I bought the item and the tag on it says a different they told me there was nothing they would do. If I wasn't happy with how it was being handled I could return my item for a full refund or just take my item for the price they were willing to give it to me for and be happy with what I got. All I was asking for is them to give me the item for the $11.49 as the price sticker on the item said.

      This was completely our fault.  We have trained multiple times on this issue, and it was not handled properly.  It will obviously give us another opportunity to discuss and train again.  A full refund will be sent to the customer, and we send our apology as well for the less than standard expectation of ***'s.
