I own a 2011 GMC Sierra **** HD CR with about 139,00 miles on it. This was my deceased husbands truck. The truck broke down on way back from vacation and had to have it towed which cost $2400. My mechanic told me that GMC put a cheap fuel pump in these trucks to save money and he sees this happen frequently. The pumps break down and sends tiny pieces of metal throughout the system causing several parts needing to be replaced. Repair is $8,000 to replace with the same cheap pump (which will eventually have the same problem) or $10,000 to replace with a better pump. This is a lot of money to have something fixed that GMC knows is a problem. They should be held responsible for replacing these fuel pumps. I do not live in a state where the lawsuit is being done. I feel the lawsuit should be done in all states! I do not have $10,000 laying around to fix something because GMC wants to save money. Shame on you, GMC. God sees everything. My 2021 Silverado 3.0 diesel has a bad NOX Sensor on a 2 to 3 month back order. I can't drive it so it is sitting in my garage waiting. This is SO frustrating! It is summer and I have reservations for camping trips. I have to say this is terrible customer service and design on the part of General Motors. AND, they won't give me a loaner pick-up to tow with for this is against their policy. Get your act together GM!

Bought a new 2025 Trax. The car was great until the A/C went out with less than 3k miles. The dealership doesn't know when the part will be available. GM **************** doesn't know when the part will be available. I've been a GM for years and this is the worst experience I've had with them.

We purchased a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 and it has been in the shop for months due a part needing to be replaced that is on "back order." This repair will be covered under the warranty which is a positive side to the situation. The downfall is they have NO TIMEFRAME for when the part will be delivered to make the repair. The truck is not drivable and we use our truck to make a living as a contractor. It's sad that a big corporation with all this money can't even manage to make sure parts are being made to make a repair to a problem they caused. Even better, I spoke to the ** parts warehouse in ****** and when they do receive the parts they will go to production first, not to the customers who have already gave them money for a vehicle we can't even drive. Of course they want to make more money off a new truck then do the right thing and repair the customer's **********************. DISGUSTING!The executives of ** should be embarrassed on how they handle this business! Never will we do business with ** again.

I have a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3L. *** truck has been well maintained with ****** miles. *** truck went to misfiring and developed a loud tapping sound with no warning. After investigation I found out one of the DOD(DisplacementOnDemand) lifters had collapsed. This truck is just outside of warranty and Im forced to pay thousands of dollars on a repairing this problem. *** dealer told me this was a very common/known longstanding problem with these trucks. Researching online also confirmed that this was very common even among low mileage trucks with several class action lawsuits related to this problem. GM should be ashamed of themselves for being ok with allowing such an expensive timebomb of a problem to be present in their engines. Im very disappointed in such a historic & classic *****************

*** is a beautiful truck on the outside, but it's not worth a **** on the inside. I bought a used *** ****** 1500 AT4 in April 2023, although it had a high number of miles I had the truck less than 15 months and the total engine has to be replaced. The camshaft, lifters, and pushrod is no good. When the engine failed the dashboard indicated the parking brake and EBCM system need servicing and the *** indicator and antilock brake system was not working. I took it to the *** dealership the next day and the first thing the person states is...it's out of warranty. What the F$#%. It cost $1200 just for them to do a diagnostic test which took almost three days. When they finally called and told me the problem....I will be out $8600. What the h*** *** was not willing to provide any assistance in correcting a problem they have yet to fix. I even called the finance department to see if I could put my truck payments on hold and they tell me I would have to pay an additional $386 just to get a two month extension for that to happen. *** is a total rip off. If someone dies because of their irresponsible actions, will they fix the problem then? Will they be held accountable. All I want is for them to buy this truck back so I can buy another dependable vehicle that is not going break my pockets with maintenance. What happened to the days when the consumer cared about the customer. *** FIX YOUR VEHICLES. I read about the recalls and they stated my truck did not have a specific warranty recall to it. If every vehicle is doing the same thing, then you should recall every vehicle. People work too hard to have nice things to pay this type of money for defective items. I'm sure the owner of *** is not even driving one of his own vehicles to understand what we are going through.

I wish I could give a negative star rating!! I was forced to give a one to in order to post this complaint.2016 Cadillac XTS purchased for out retirement. Hardly driven in order to maintain for just that purpose. All maintenance performed and only 47K miles on it. Always stored in the garage. Nine months ago while on vacation in *********** SC, the electric power steering motor went out. For nine months it has been there, 4 ours south of where we live. Communication from Cadillac service is extremely poor. No real information. Only can say part is on backorder. Twice have been promised a shipment date for receipt at the dealer where it sits all these nine months. Both times part never arrived and no communication as to why. Continue to be in contact with the same customer service rep ****** who can offer no information and continues to say that she'll be in contact with us. Every so often we get an email stating that she was unable to reach us by phone and to return call to the customer service number with our case number. How would ********************* whose 2024 compensation package is a total of $6,390,655. Wonder how she would feel if she were in our situation. Paying and maintaining a car for retirement, only to have this be the situation and not getting any response or resolve to the situation.Well ****?????
