I wish I could give a negative star rating!! I was forced to give a one to in order to post this complaint.2016 Cadillac XTS purchased for out retirement. Hardly driven in order to maintain for just that purpose. All maintenance performed and only 47K miles on it. Always stored in the garage. Nine months ago while on vacation in *********** SC, the electric power steering motor went out. For nine months it has been there, 4 ours south of where we live. Communication from Cadillac service is extremely poor. No real information. Only can say part is on backorder. Twice have been promised a shipment date for receipt at the dealer where it sits all these nine months. Both times part never arrived and no communication as to why. Continue to be in contact with the same customer service rep ****** who can offer no information and continues to say that she'll be in contact with us. Every so often we get an email stating that she was unable to reach us by phone and to return call to the customer service number with our case number. How would ********************* whose 2024 compensation package is a total of $6,390,655. Wonder how she would feel if she were in our situation. Paying and maintaining a car for retirement, only to have this be the situation and not getting any response or resolve to the situation.Well ****?????

I purchased a 2024 ************** 1500 LTZ and it has been nothing but problems. The engine continuously was stalling and throwing a code, the radio would randomly go out, the screen would randomly go out, the radio would randomly go to full blast sound, the high beam headlights would randomly just start flashing and not stop and the windshield wipers would randomly just start going. The only problem they were able to fix the dozen or so times I had it in was the wipers. I contacted GM customer service who agreed to give me a $5000 trade assistance coupon and promised I would have it before the 31 of March. Having this in mind I made arrangements to trade the vehicle in and purchased a trax and a WT 1500. I started calling customer service back regarding the 5k assistance and after being told it was coming it never showed up and when I called on the 30 and 31st they ghosted me. Due to the hazards with the vehicle and it often stalling in intersections I moved forward with the trade and purchased two new vehicles. These two vehicles I just purchased on 3/31 were my 13 and 14th vehicle purchases since 2018. Not to include all the others purchased over the years. When Finally made contact with customer service and spoke with a supervisor I was told that it was a mistake on their part and I should not have been told it was approved. Although I argued the point and she agreed with the fact that I was told I was getting the Trade Assistance of 5k she continued to tell me that I was eligible but GM would not approve it and that it was their mistake for telling me I was getting it. This is absolutely horrible coming from a customer service center for ******************** especially understanding that in my lifetime I purchased at least 25 GM vehicles. Please let me know if you have a suggestion as to whom I can elevate this to.

Ive had 2 brand new GMC trucks in the last 2 years. 2023 and 2024 GMC ****** 3500 HD Duramax. The 2023 needed to be retrofit because of the chip problem. After a year of waiting for ships they said would only take a few months to get, I found out GMC was selling new trucks with all the chips and new options. When I found this out I went and traded in the 2023 for a 2024. Havent even had my 2024 for barely a year and the transmission had a major problem with the valve body solenoid. Theyve had my truck for over a month now and its still not fixed. Guarantee there still making new trucks and have the part, just not for someone who already owns the truck. Been a ********* guy my whole life and owned over 15 of their trucks. I think from here forward Im going with ****.

Never buy GM. My 2024 ****** has been in the shop 3 times for the same issue already and Ive only owned it for 6 weeks. Paying for a vehicle that you cant drive is the worst. Their customer service is atrocious and dishonest.

This company is HORRIBLE. I returned my lease, and a week or two later I received a bill statement saying that I needed to pay for some wear and tear. Which is fine! But in my case, I was paying for wear and tear insurance. Then they also said that I only returned one key fob "lie". I went back and fourth with GM. They eventually dropped it, but still reported me and affected my credit score. They never sent me a new bill with the disposition fee. So be aware of GM unfairness. HORRIBLE and not nice.

My car has been in the shop now for two months due to parts on back order. I have to pay for my rental before being reimbursed. They will pay the daily rate, but not the taxes and fees.Still have to pay my car note monthly for a vehicle that's sitting around. Not to mention I have a $500 deductible to pay once it's fixed. Oh don't forget car insurance. They should satisfy all of my debt while my car is in the shop. Unfortunately, the help from GM is limited

I purchased a 2024 ***** Blazer RS. Less than 4 weeks with the vehicle and 2k miles, the transmission failed. It is a known GM issue, as they already had a service bulletin for the repair. I have now been paying on a new vehicle to sit at the dealership for over 4 weeks and wait for parts. The dealership has no timeline on the last part to arrive to supposedly fix the issue. GM **************** can do nothing to assist except call the dealership for an update. It is frustrating because I purchased this particular vehicle to tow my boat. So it is a summer without boating. How can GM still install new 9 speed transmissions in new cars to sell but not have a spare part to allow a "purchased" vehicle to get back on the road? It sure seems they do not care about customer service!

I have a 2016 ***** Suburban which in on its 3rd transmission. I called GM to inquire about assistance with the cost the second time I had to replace the transmission given this is a known issue with the 2016 Suburban's. I told them I have owned 10 *****'s previously and that I planned to purchased a 2025 Suburban when it came out. They said that given the age and mileage of the my 2016 Suburban that they would not be able offer any assistance. They also said their decision was final and there was not opportunity to appeal. GM unfortunately does not stand behind the products it makes (even when there is a known defect) and does not value customer loyalty. I have never replaced a transmission on any car I have owned and I have had to replace the transmission in my 2016 Suburban two times. This is really unfortunate and I will likely purchase a **** Expedition for my next vehicle.
