      General Motors is trying to kill people on the road with there defective vehicles.**DO NOT BUY A 2024 ***** TRAVERSE** or any vehicle by **. Im issuing this urgent warning after my horrific experience with both the dealership and my brand-new 2024 **************. On June 16, 2024, I made what I thought was a safe investment, only to have it turn into a nightmare. Just 75 days later, on September 1, 2024, while driving, the transmission *completely* failed without warning. My car lost power in an instant, leaving me inches from what could have been a tragic accident.This terrifying event has shaken me to my core, and the fact that **General Motors** is knowingly allowing faulty vehicles like this onto the road is *unforgivable*. The car was towed to *************** Chevrolet, where they confirmed there were defects in the transmission. But the worst part? The necessary parts are on backorder, and there's no estimated time for when my car will be repaired.General Motors is fully aware of these issues and recent bulletins related to the 2024 ***** Traverse. Notably, a service bulletin has been issued addressing transmission issues, specifically regarding internal transmission components in vehicles like the ***** Traverse, Blazer, and Trailblazer. This bulletin highlights defects that could lead to transmission malfunctions, similar to what I experienced.       I had previously filled a complaint. I own a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, purchased it new off the lot. The transmission has been giving me trouble over the last couple months. I took it to the dealership which ** *** requested. Dealership said the transmission needed fixed or ***laced. ** stated the only way they would pay anything for the fix was for the transmission to be torn down to get an exact diagnosis on the transmission. Dealership tore down and ***orted to ** about the transmission. ** said they tried to work with the dealership about the percentage ** would pay, then the dealership said ** said they would only pay 10 percent of the ***air after my transmission is torn down, which ** requested this to happen. I have no choice but to get it ***aired due to it being torn down! ** should have recalled all these transmissions when they knew they were bad! I have owned GM cars/trucks all my life. I have maintained my vehicles. ** really screwed me and ** does not care about the consumers. ** has been lying and the dealership has been lying about this situation. They are in cahoots together. I am more than unsatisfied by **. Due to ** and dealership, they have had my truck for 4 weeks!! I have been a loyal customer!!!!!!!!!

      Awful customer service from both a business perspective and from a customer perspective. The wait time to speak to a representative over the phone ranges from 30 minutes to an hour sometimes more. It's ridiculous how long I have to wait to speak to someone, and I'm always being put on hold again after I finally speak to a representative. **************** definitely needs improvement.

      Bought a brand new 2022 GMC 2500 HD DURAMAX from them. It has been an electrical nightmare spending most of its life in the shop for various electronics and components failing. Even the dealers agree that ** should be helping me out. The only response Ive gotten from ** is there is nothing that they can do. Super sad long time GMC/ ***** family. Ive owned 4 myself. Bought 2 new vehicles in the last 2 1/2 years from them. Will never purchase a new or used from them again. If they cant back there product Ill look for a manufacturer that does. They are acting like brake and power steering failure is a no big deal while pulling a trailer down a hill on icy roads having the transmission not be able to shift headlights fail in the middle of the night. Completely embarrassing

      I bought a 2020 Chevrolet ******* brand new. Last week it left me in the middle of the road thankfully I had just exited the freeway. It was towed to the dealership where I was told it was told it was a fuel module and the fix only taxed 15 minutes. Going on two weeks now and nothing come to find out many General Motor parts are backorder with no estimate time of delivery. Yet they keep making new cars. Looking up General Motors on many platforms I see I am not the only one with this problem. I hope this helps others stay away from GM it has been an on going issue way before covid. Then it was blamed on covid and now it's blamed on the strike. Stay away. Now I am making payments on a vehicle that is just sitting on a lot.

      How does *** sell you a 2024 ****** knowing that there is no fix for the flickering headlights . At night its so bad that the driver in front of you think you are trying to pull them over . Very distracting as a drive to constantly have them flicker . Why didnt *** hold back on selling the Canyon knowing there is no fix or at least let the consumer to be aware . At this time I am waiting on *** on how to move forward.The Canyon has 165 miles on it . Be part of the *** family if this is how you treat family get me OUT !

      Gmc today is 8-26-24 and Im sitting at a *** dealership. This is the second time within a year that I have had to bring my 2020 GMC Denali to the dealership for an emissions or engine issue. I had a similar issue on 6/23/23 and it was a back and forth on trying to get my truck fixed and a loaner. This truck has a hard idol, a knocking sound (said to be the lifter), service engine light on, traction control light on and collision avoidance light is on. I have no problem leaving it here to get fix but my issue is why am I being told I need to pay for my own rental car bc the dealership cant provide one. It doesnt matter if you will reimburse me but what if I dont have $600 for a rental car at this moment? I should not have to pay out of pocket for anything that is under warranty especially on a truck with less the 30k miles. I was also just informed that if I was to rent a vehicle it would have to be a *** brand. Now why didnt *** customer service give me that important information. This is so unprofessional. I do believe this is my last GMC vehicle.

      GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION: ************ has not compasion for its customers. we bought a new 2024 gmc terrain slt with 34 miles on it. less than a week later with 302 miles on it the transmission leaves my wife on the side of the road. we bring it to the dealership and they place a order for the parts that are now on a recall. 2 months go by and we get the car back. ** offers some points for the trouble it has caused. what kind of stuff is that. i had to pay a note on a car that i could not even drive. my warranty that i paid for provided the parts labor and rental. and ** is acting like they gave me something after selling me a warranty.
