      This trash pick up service and its employees are horrible they have horrible attitudes they destroy our trash bins regularly and have no regard for anybodys property you absolutely cannot get a call back from customer service to even discuss your damaged property so Im not sure what to do at this point they will refuse to pick up trash that is WELLL within the guidelines of pickup if they just dont feel like doing it which you cannot get ahold of anybody to discuss either these people should not be operating a businesss if they cannot be contacted then I go to ****** and it is just plastered with people suffering the same problems as me over the last few weeks something needs to be done this company is NOT doing what their being paid to do and they are destroying property while their at it this is my last ditch effort before contacting an attorney and taking them to civil court for my damaged property

      I have had numerous problems with Emterra in regard to our trash pickup service. The individual(s) on my route have been observed urinating in a tree line in plain view within a subdivision, flagrant unprofessionalism, and the destruction of my garbage can (rendering it nearly unusable). Numerous complaints have been filed within the company itself, however, this corporation is horrible with customer service, investigation of complaints, and even returning phone calls to myself and my wife. This matter has been going on for months with very little resolve. I have recorded videos from my security system that directly observes some of the mentioned behavior. My township supervisor and has been notified about this issue but comes at a loss because they are in a contract agreement for services for years to come. I am sick and tired of trying to resolve this matter and continuously fail to do so. This is why I am reaching out and seeking your assistance.

      Hello,
      thank you for your swift response to me about my ongoing problem. I am pleased to inform you that I have been contacted by someone in mgmt from Emterra shortly after my submission to your organization and the situation has now been resolved which includes providing me with a new garbage can. The representative stated that due to legal union obligations, they were not able to make contact with me or my wife to provide an update about the status of the matter. These types of situations could only be relayed back to the townships and not the private consumer themselves. After the phone call, I spoke to the township supervisors assistant and explained what I was told by the individual. She appeared just as surprised as myself that the Emterra representative would suggest it was the townships responsibility to keep me updated on the status and not someone from the company.

       Ironically, as mentioned, this ongoing matter has been remedied only after notifying them by email today that I was going to file a formal complaint with the BBB. For months of dealing with this problem, it finally came to resolve in the matter of a couple of hours within the same day. Again, I appreciate your assistance in this matter and your continued efforts to protect people like myself (the consumer) from inexcusable treatments from major corporations.

      Ive called this company over a dozen times and asked them to please stop comming so early to change the trash beacause they slam the dumpters against the ground starting at 3am,4am 5am but when i talked to the company via phone they told me that theres nothing they can do and that the front loader guy who picks up the trash is on contact and they cant tell him what to do so im stuck with being woken up all hours of the night the trash can is literaly right next to my bedroom window so i can never get the proper amount of sleep they come 2 times a week it really does effect me emotionally to be woken up so loudly and i have now began to call the police to make reports for the noise ordience because this company has stated oh well everytime ive call and kindly asked them to have there fromt loader come at a reasonable time its become a menace to my health beacause im not getting enough sleep witch is causing me to fall asleep at the wheel of my car on the way to work because i cant get the proper amount of sleep . Please help me idk what else to do i just want to sleep a full 8 hours instead 4 hours or less because they come whenever they want

      I have been having reoccurring problems with trash being discarded and either left or being thrown from this companys employees. I called to file a complaint but the representative kept cutting me off and not taking the matter serious. I asked for help or a supervisor only to be hung up on. I tried calling repeatedly and was transferred on hold. When I finally called in with my local township on a 3 way call the company answered. They were backed into a corner with a witness on the phone and said they would not speak to me with someone else on the other line , I would have to call in. I have never seen a company of this size lack accountability and professionalism as I have witnessed with Emterra services. I have no choice because the township hired them and I cant chose a trash service. It isnt just me who has issues. When driving down the road around the corner there is trash still in bags and loose trash left everywhere after the garbage truck has went though. I advise anyone who has a choice to steer clear of Emterra.
