April 25th 2025 crew came out to start work. I was told it was a seasoned crew of tuck point masons. Guys were young, unskilled non communicative and no guidance. I watched and corrected the work they did since no ******* was present. Once one brick is crooked, it follows a crooked pattern. I was told original thin brick I had would be used in the home to match the brick. Not 1 piece was used. The workers destroyed them and disposed of them over my hillside. I questioned why the brick looked so different and grout lines were so wide. I recently discovered they used the wrong size brick. When I tried to talk with the owner he over talked me and repeatedly threatened to sue me and put a lean on my home. The harassing calls came from him and some woman well past 10pm on Saturday evening. Terrible situation for my health being a heart patient. I have the phone times documented with my heart monitor that would escalate my heart to the 150's. I had to take a nitro glycerine tablet with fear of a heart attack. I suffer from a-fib. Owner bullied me. No ******* that would be present on job site. No English. Worst experience I've ever had and paid $18,000. New brick work looks like trash. Otherwise the existing brick is beautiful on my home. I have all the recordings and screenshots of our conversation. I have video of the job description that did not happen. A lot of broken promises from them. I waited over a month to see if the mortar would cure and look better. The brick needs to be torn off and replaced with the proper size by experienced tuck point masons that I was told I was hiring. It looks like a crew of inexperienced children tried to fix my brick. I would have been better trying to repair the brick myself with the original thin brick I had set aside. Again NOT ONE original thin brick was used to match my beautiful brick work on my home. The company lies. The owner is a liar and a bully. I need this repaired correctly for the money I was forced to pay.

    *******

We did a final walkthrough with management. And you and your husband

After the final walkthrough, you gladly paid the balance that was due on the project with no issues

This is the first we've heard of any issues after the fact

Feel free to email us your original contract and any concerns that you might ******* the service department can look into this for you

Feel free to attach any photos that you would like

But please, the derogatory comments need to stop. Because throughout the whole process, you were very, very overwhelming and disrespectful for the people that represent us. The guys were getting so overwhelmed by your comments that they really wanted to leave the property out of their safety and concern for the well-being. But I encourage them to do the right thing and finish your project for you which we did.

And i'm asking kindly that you stop doing that

We're seeing a lot of that still even in this post with the b.B b

4/20/23 $29,827.00 Company promised to create a dry space, with no leaks, with a new porch installation. Initial Construction permits were not pulled with city government, a city inspector was not consulted before work commenced/ finalized. After several phone calls, return trips to the property, the problem is not resolved to this day. There is a new, continual leak created by this new construction. Our phone calls are not being returned and the problem is creating mold growth in the basement. Our mother is nearly **************************************************** our view, this is an unacceptable practice as it has caused physical and mental stress.

*********************, the salesman who sold this job, initiated a repair. City inspection fees were paid by Cornerstone. We're awaiting final inspection. As of 9/21/23, a follow up appointment has been scheduled and canceled 4 times (by Cornerstone). While there is less moisture in the basement, further repairs are needed. Another company has been contacted.

First thing - I did not want to go this route in filing a complaint however at this time I have no choice. We hired this company last spring **************************************************** the backyard. It was a slightly over $12k project that was completed in May 2022. Late fall in 2022, we noticed a step that was loose again which they knew about prior to signing the contract for the work. They had completely redone this portion of the patio as well due to sinking pavers, etc and while we were talking through the project, this step was noted and the sales person said all would be fixed since they are basically redoing the entire project all they way to complete removal, leveling, repair and then replacing existing pavers back. I had called 3 times in January 2023 to finally talk to someone after my 3rd voicemail which he stated for me to call back in the spring when they are open again and able to repair the steps. I waited as directed and called on May 1, 2023 and left a voicemail, then I called again on May 18, 2023 and left a voicemail and the last one (voicemail) was on June 17, 2023 which included that a maintenance person who was at my house almost fell due to hitting those loose steps. It is now July 5, 2023 and still haven't gotten a call back regarding anyone to come out and look at the steps and then do a repair of the work that should be covered under the warranty. I just want a response and not to feel ignored. I just want what I paid for to last more than a year and to be fixed as warranted. Thanks

We hired cornerstone to do a complete rebuild of our patio costing $14,000. What truly sold us was the 18 month warranty which turned out to be an absolute joke. They rebuilt the patio and looked great but after about a year a few bricks started to lift up. I called multiple times left multiple messages. My wife called 1-3 times per week leaving messages. She even tried to just get a call back saying she wanted new work done. No answer no call backs not ever! FINALLY, we left a a bad review on the website and got a call back. Someone came out, took pictures and said they would come back. No call back no show AGAIN! A few months passed and we finally got a person on the phone who claims to be the owner and told us it’s our fault as a home owner and that we didn’t do our normal maintenance. He was completely rude and wouldn’t even let me speak. If bricks are lifting up, what maintenance was there to be done? After going through some google reviews we are not the only people who have gone through this. So many of the same exact stories have been posted of no call backs and no shows. It’s absolutely ridiculous! In addition, this is a coordinated approach that the state should look into. They just take your money and dont honor a written warranty.
