On February 3 at 8:15 am EST, I had a follow up appointment with a CNP, to discuss my new medication. I paid $99 for this online zoom appointment. I waited for over a half an hour for the physician to join, but she never showed up. During this wait, I called customer service and was in hold for over 10 minutes before I gave up. I sent an email to customer service but all I got back was an automated message saying they received my message but it may take a while for anyone to respond. After reading reviews of this company, it seems very unlikely I'll get my money back. Many people have dealt with the same problem. This appointment was so important because I have been experiencing negative side effects. After doing my own research, I learned that the medication she prescribed me should not be taken with the antidepressant in already on. It can cause serotonin syndrome, which I'm showing mild symptoms of. Serotonin syndrome can be fatal. If terrifys me that a doctor did not know this information and I had to discover it myself.Initial Complaint

On January 23, I was prescribed by ADHD Online a prescription that was out of stock by my local pharmacy. The pharmacist advised that my provider had to directly transfer or prescribe an available alternative. Upon attempting to contact ADHD online, their lack of responsiveness keeps making me miss the availability of the prescriptions. I paid for this service and still have not been able to be able to benefit from the maintenance medication. I have attempted to contact them by telephone and have been unable to contact anybody. And it takes weeks to get any kind of response via email which still does not resolve my issue. I am requesting a refund for services and a direct contact to resolve this matter. I was evaluated for ADHD, and diagnosed with it. This is not news to me since I was diagnosed as a child with it, and medicated for many years. As an adult I felt that I was struggling in both my career and home life due to my adhd no longer being treated, but being on a busy work schedule I though going the online route would be better. I scheduled an appointment with a doctor, and he prescribed my medication for me, but my pharmacy called me a couple hours later to inform me that the medication was out of stock. I found the medication available at pharmacy nearby and followed the instructions of filling out their online form for pharmacy transfer, but nobody got back to me. I called and left a message, nobody got back to me. The medication has not been transferred, and nobody will contact me. It has been over a week now. Im beyond frustrated after forking out around $300 just to get evaluated for something I already had a diagnosis for, yet no treatment. Either this company is a scam, or they are poorly operated.Business Response

Paid 99$ for appt on 12/12/22. It was supposed to cover the appt as well as medication management for 3 months. After one month the company stopped answering calls, never replied to emails, and did not fulfill their end of the agreement. 1: company will not refill prescription for medical management. 2: company does not answer support emails. 3: company does not return phone calls after being FORCED to leave voicemail. 4: company will infact respond VERY FAST when payment is needed. 5: company personnel are very rude when finally able to get on the phone but will not resolve issue. The quality of care that should be upheld is not and the quality of care is of non existence. I have been a patient for almost 2 years and the last 6 months has been a horrible experience. I am wanting the monies I've paid for service refunded and compensation for having to spend hours, yes HOURS trying to get them on the phone. For the last two months, I have requested a refill on my medication following the company's process. Last month, there was no response for a week, and when I escalated I was told that I didn't have a current appointment on file, which was incorrect. After calling and emailing for another week, the company finally responded, corrected their mistake, and called in my medication refill. This month, I put in my medication request on 1/7. I am still waiting on a response after calling, and emailing several times. For the past two months the lack of care on behalf of this company is causing me to have to go unmedicated for two months in a row! This is unacceptable, and it's putting my mental health at risk, and causing stress and job/life impacts. I need this company to adjust its practices in order to respond within a 24 hr SLA to these requests, and process the medication refills.Business Response

I was initially happy with ADHD Onlines service. I paid the initial assessment fee, then paid a $99 consult fee to be diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed Adderall 20mg. The plan I was given was that every 90 days I would need to consult again as part of going medication management, but within that 90-day window I only needed to contact them to request refills. On October 7, 2022 I consulted with a DO there and had my script refilled. Due to moving cross-state and surgeries, I didnt need a refill until early December. I sent my request using their online refill form on 12/13/22. They didnt get back to me until the second week of January and now state I need to pay and get another 90-day consult. I replied and told them on 01/08/23 that I was already going to have to pay out of pocket now with my new years Rx deductible thanks to their delay, and that my request was originally well within my 90 days so either they should waive the requirement or waive the consult fee. As of today 01/13/23 still not a word from them. I am scheduling a consult because I still need the meds before traveling at the end of the month but will contest the charge through my bank afterwards if ADHD Online wont reasonably refund the $99 fee. They keep citing delays due to being overwhelmed with requests, but a.) that is not my problem, and b.) they still arent so overwhelmed that they didnt send me a half dozen spamming emails during my month waiting. If they can keep marketing their services then they can at least PROVIDE the services theyve already been paid for in a timely manner.Business Response

On 1/05/2023, I placed an order for $149 to receive an assessement to determine whether or not I had ADHD and it was advertised that I would be contacted in a couple days to determine a treatment plan if I had ADHD and that I would have my results in this time. It has been a week and I have still not heard anything back on the matter. I contacted them asking for a refund and they told me, "Thank you for reaching out to us. We do not directly participate with insurance companies, but often the assessment cost and appointment costs can be reimbursed through an insurance claim. You may check with your insurance provider to see if these are covered by your plan. Detailed instructions on how to submit an insurance claim will also be included with your assessment report. Please let me know if you have any other questions. In regard to your insurance company, I do hope you find this information helpful. I use this online ****************** to fulfill my medications. I pay for visits with the doctor every 90 day ($100) and they are supposed to provide me with 3 scripts for 3 months of medication. I can get the medication filled if they are sent to the pharmacy. They have failed to provide my medication scripts accurately and in a timely fashion. Its been one month since my request and they have just now responded( still no medication) .But I am not able to get it until I pay additional $100 for my 90 day appointment. But its only been 70 days, and I requested my medication almost 30 days ago. The company is very negligent and money hungry. Its not about the medication or the money. Its about the service that theyre supposed to provide when paid.Business Response

I paid $200 to be seen by a provider for an ADHD prescrition. Their advertisement said I could be seen for medication support and a prescription for medication. After getting my prescription turned away at 6 pharmacies, they all stated that a law passed not allowing telehealth medications to be filled earlier this year. They advertise giving prescriptions despite knowing they cant legally be filled. The pharmacy stated they attempted to reach out to ADHD online for more information and that they received no call back from them. I have tried calling and leaving messages with no return call.Business Response
