NOR have I received the registration on the **** Explorer I bought when I traded All I am getting is excuses. The Sec of State says Mi dealers have 15 days to process the registration information. it has been about 45 and Laker still has not. They keep saying they will send a check for the Chrysler but then do not

****************** purchased a vehicle on 12/8/2022. Dealers now have 21 days to complete the process with the Secretary of State.  ********************** paperwork was returned to us because he did not provide the address of the lender from which he secured the funds to purchase the vehicle.  This was needed to process his paperwork.  After securing this information, I resubmitted his paperwork.  His registration was mailed to him on Saturday.

As for the $300.00 for his trade in, he was credited with the $300.00 on his paperwork, but when he came to pick up his vehicle he came with a check from his bank for the amount without the trade in.  Therefore his paperwork had to be sent to our office staff for a check to be issued to him.  This check was mailed to him on !/4/2023.

We maintained contact with ****************** throughout the process and believe this complaint is totally unwarranted.

In addition, given that all of this occurred during the Holiday's when the Secretary of State and the *********** were closed and during a huge blizzard which caused shutdowns everywhere, I believe ****************** was provided timely service.

If you have additional questions please contact us directly at Laker Motors.

    Thank you, *****************************
