      Warranty Claim CR0891210 shingles claim was kicked back 2x for "lack of info".... Info I don't have. This matter hasn't been taken seriously. CertainTeeds application for a shingle claim is outlandish and "requires" unreasonable info to be provided. That's intentional and dirty on their part. The majority of homeowners would not have the info "required" to make a claim against their shingles. To complete their application, you need to be both an experienced roofing specialist and the contractor who made the material purchases. They require aerial view measurement reporting to be done and/or provide them with the lumberyard receipts for the materials. What is a homeowner supposed to do when they have a claim but they bought a manufactured home? We have a 2021 double wide that we bought in Feb 2022. It was a display model. We didnt order it or build it. We dont have material info/specs/details or lumberyard invoices. It should never be this hard to file a claim for a product under warranty. Our home was delivered June 2022 and set on a basement July 2022. We had immediate visual concerns. Had 2 professional inspections done and reported it all in Sept 2022 to the manufacturer. Manufacturer then pulled CertainTeed into the mix so they can all point fingers at ea other. Manufacturer was here 4 times reviewing shingles. To their own accord, we have 25+ problem areas that are poor quality/poor install. Their 4th visit here, they were accompanied by a CertainTeed rep Oct 2023. I was a told to open a warranty claim. He took sample/s and photos of damaged/creased /loose/poor quality/faulty shingles along with him that day in Oct. Filing this claim is equivalent to jumping through flaming hoops. Speaking to a manager might be helpful since the emails I get do not answer my questions and are generically closed with "claims coordinator" ...and nobody's actual name. This has been so stressful and time consuming. Two thumbs down for CertainTeed.

      Purchased certainteed vinyl siding. The siding was not as advertised and or promised. The warranty assistance is fictitious. They require you to file a claim online and their web address does not function.

      ***************************-The CertainTeed representative has ignored countless voicemails since the beginning of July. *** supply in ***** basically said he dropped the ball and also could not reach him. Essentially certainteed sold me junk siding that melted with no rhyme or reason. This whole issue started in May 2023. ***** visited the job site and stated the credit would be issued at that time. After leaving countless messages and threatening to file a civil suit while subpoena these call records ***** decided to call me back and blame *** supply. He is beyond silly and flat out full of lies. He then changed his story to saying he was on vacation Lol!!!!!I want my money for the $1000 in siding I purchased that is complete garbage. Im sure *** would appreciate a representative that can at least make up believable lie

      I have life-time warranty on the windows installed in my home in **** by Insulate Windows and Doors, aka ********* ***** I am trying to exercise that warranty. I notified them by phone in August 2022 of my window problems (discoloration and moisture between the dual panes and displacement of sliders that allow the window to open/close but now do not allow some of the windows to close). I was told that someone from DC glass would contact me for inspection. They never have and I cannot locate them anywhere near me. I have called ********* *** several times and I been able to speak only to a receptionist only two or three times but have gotten no satisfaction. I have left three phone messages with the warranty department manager and have emailed him twice. I have heard nothing back from him. During my last conversation with the receptionist today (November 16, 2022) I was told they are trying to locate a third party in my area to service my claim but have not yet found one. There are sizable communities within less that fifty miles of my location with glass and window contractors. This has been nearly three full months in process. This is a totally unacceptable long period with zero progress on my claim.
