******** started our install on November 11th, 2024, bear in mind this was only 1 door going from a slider to a French door. The job was finally finished on March 13, 2025. I told them we wanted $5000 compensation. I told them this after they were done, and we were without the use of a door for 4.5 months. Bear in mind I offered to pay them $11,991 no financing the next day so they would get some of their money, but they said no. I wanted $5000 forgiven we have still not signed the complete job order. The way the job order is written is that we would acknowledge we were completely satisfied and then the financing would start, which would be one year the same as cash. We are not satisfied, 4.5 months without the use of a door, never knowing if it would lock or not, and the inconvenience of multiple visits by their installers until they decided we needed a new lock set. The one they brought with them on the day of the installation would not work so we went for 7 weeks with an ***** wrench for a handle on the inside and tape covering the hole on the outside. These people do not understand the inconvenience. They had to replace the door as the existing door the warped while they were waiting for parts. I am not a dead beat; I own my own business and if I treated my customers in the insulting way, they treated us then I would have no customers. They got an offer from us which we believe is fair, but now they will spend that money taking us to courtInitial Complaint

I had windows installed on June 14 2023. The installation company did not install the windows properly. I started having issues and noticed a frame was broken before install team left my home. It was noted and signed by install team. Not long after installation I noticed my windows were fogging between the glass panes, the window locks were coming undone, and ice was building up inside the windows and air was blowing through the windows. I contacted renewal by ******** service team and they sent the service supervisor out. He determined the windows were not properly installed. The tops of the windows were never screwed in or secured. When they put the expansion foam around the outside of the frame it caused the tops of my window frames to bow. This causes excessive wear on the windows and makes it hard to open and close windows. Also with the frames not being installed properly its causing my window screens to not fit properly and they keep falling out. My sliding glass door it was determined that they did not install that properly either which has caused rain and snow to blow in through the door on windy days. Renewal by ******** also said the bottom sill plate was supposed to be a pressure treated board under and the install team put a non treated board under which will absorb moisture and cause rotting. I have tried on numerous occasions to email *** the manager at renewal by ******** and he quit communicating with myself and the finance company GreenSky. Renewal by ******** manager *** only wants to replace the windows themselves and not the frames. Which will only cause the new window sash to get ruined and not fix the issue with the wind blowing through and ice build up. The frames need to be taken out and the job needs to be started all over with new uncompromised, frames and windows. The sliding glass door the last time the service techs were here they pulled the slider door apart and in the process put scratches on the glass.Initial Complaint

September 2023 I signed a contract with Renewal by ******** for $15,000 for 8 windows to be installed. *********** *************** did not order the correct windows for my house. He sold us insert windows, when he had the experience to know that what we needed was new construction windows. He should have told us that Renewal by ******** doesnt sell or install those kind and his company could not assist us with new windows. Instead he ordered windows that would not be airtight or sealed appropriately. Not knowing anything about windows me and my husband signed a year loan with ********. They paid RBA half the job to make the windows. The delivery and installation was supposed to be Tuesday December *****. When they arrived I was told by the installer and my siding contractor that the windows they should have sold me were new construction windows because of the Visable rot and deteriorated frames and *****. I called and talked with a manager, *******************, and all the are willing to do is either put in the wrong windows or I get NO windows and still have to pay the ******** deposit with ********. I wanted to walk away from the whole deal because of the fraudulent predatory practices of the salesman. **** is refusing to do that. I called ********, they will be calling *******************, but it will take time to get an answer or resolution. I also plan on calling a lawyer and see my options.Initial Complaint

I once had them come out to my property to do a quote on my house nearly 2 years ago and I told them afterwords that I would not be interested in any of their products or services. Since then, I have been receiving multiple emails and solicitations. I have called many times over the last 2 years asking to be taken off their call list, email list, and mailing list, waiting 12 weeks between each request. This is the fourth time waiting 12 weeks and I still receive multiple solicitations over the mail.Initial Complaint

I am getting advertising mail from this company, sometimes once a week. Twice I called to request they remove me, my name, address, and ALL other information they have for me from their mailing list. Both times they said they would. Well, fast forward several weeks, and they are now sending me the same advertising mail, only addressing it to "Branch Family" and "Our Neighbor." I've started refusing the mail and marking it Return to Sender. It still keeps coming. They are violating my rights to not receive their advertising and for thinking they are getting around my do not mail request by addressing it differently but sending to the same address. I view this as harassment.Initial Complaint

This company replaced entire sliding window with two sliding windows without handles. When pressured they put a handle on that can't be reached. Handle placement was established in person when ordered. Metal joins at frame corners are sharp enough to cut.Initial Complaint

We had water damage in our home that we thought was because of our windows and doors being old so we signed a contract with Renewal by ********. The contract was amended a few times. The final contract was singed on March 22nd. Then in the beginning of April we were made aware that the water damage had more to do with our walls than our windows so I immediately reached out to some other contractors about the walls and rea he'd our to our representative from renewal by Andersen. There was some conflict deciding how to move forward. Renewal by ******** told me over and over than they had my best interest in mind but they were not listening to my concerns. All they cared about was getting their money out of the deal. I notified them of the issue before I was notified my order was completed but they told me I was "too late" so I asked how much I would need to pay to be let out of the contract because my husband and I along with 2 Amish contractors went ahead and rebuilt my entire home. Wall, windows, doors, siding.... Everything (and at a Timmy ******** of the price renewal by Andersen was trying to change us, I might add) . However even though I offered and asked and practically begged them to give me a price for how much I'd need to pay to be let out of the contract they refused and continued harassing me for the past several months telling me they NEED to come install the windows. My husband and I have done what we need to do to make sure our home is safe and sturdy for the sake of our health, the ***** of our children (there was mold in the home) and for the longevity of our home. We are no about to have them come out and undo our work just so they can install their windows. I was willing to pay a feel to be let out of the contract but I'm just done. This is so unfair. They don't have your best interest in mind. They are scammers trying to rip off families in need! I want an official statement from them stating I'm no longer bound to the contract!
