      This CPS company sent out an official-looking letter with all of my company's data (including incorporation date) noting ******** Statute for filing and paying for an annual certificate with the Office of the Secretary of State and their form to be filled out to meet such requirements, with an associated fee of $150.00. The fee to file is only $25 so their fee for their "so called" help is a whooping $125.00!!The first paragraph ends with the statement that if we do not file an annual certificate within 60 days after the due date we may be at risk for penalties and their letter has a RESPOND DATE of 12/16/2022 which is no where close to our due date for filing our annual certificate. This is trickery at its' worse and I feel bad for all those who don't realize this and engage with this company.

      I received a solicitation from C.P.S. to file for my ********** bi-annual filling fee. The mailing was specifically designed to look like it was coming from the *******************, rather than from a for profit company. This is deceitful advertising and they should be forced. In addition, they are charging $100 service fee without declaring that in the solicitation. Highly ***********************

      In November 2022, I received a letter from CFS with a form "2023- Annual Registration Instruction Form" that resembles an official from from the **************** to re-register my LLC every year. It was not at all clear that they are a private firm offering to submit the re-registration on your behalf for a fee. I think this is deceptive.

      This is evidently a scam. The letter I received looks very official and asks for $170. The letter says if my business "...does not file an annual registration in the applicable filing period, you may be at risk for penalties and fines." Quotes from actual codes: "Ga. Code ***. 14-11-1103(a) **** limited liability company and each foreign limited liability company authorized to transact business in this state shall deliver to the Secretary of State for filing an annual registration..." They make this look like your business license renewal. Very tricky C.F.S. Had to go online and research it to only find out it was a scam. Waste of my time! I am with the other guy on here (BBB) who reported you....C.F.S. don't send me anything in the future...because for sure I will report you again!

      I received a letter from CPS this year believing that this letter was coming from the ***********. Unfortunately upon doing my accounting and looking for the address and company name to file under an expense, I came across warnings and complaints online about this company scamming business owners out of money to file their annual report. Im so upset that I actually mailed a check for $185 to these people. I would like my money back. I cant believe they are taking advantage of small business owners who have struggled to keep their business running during a pandemic.

      C.F.S requested $170 to file my annual registration. The letter def had a call to action as if , I didn't respond by 11/30 it would be problems for my business. The letter looks really official and even cites a GA code. C.F.S says they will file your annual registration, but you can't without an EIN, and that was not on the letter.

      This a smoothly executed mail scam that will take advantage of someone who does not read it carefully. A letter and return envelope arrive that look like an official **************** document; it VERY closely mimics typical document formats you receive from the state. The person running this scam has (likely legally) obtained your business information from the state, and is now using that information against you. The form appears to be a renewal for an LLC, and it is timed to arrive mid-November as many renewals occur end-of-year. It even lists a quote from the Official Code of Georgia Annotated law related to LLCs to make itself look official, and includes an 30 day "please respond by" fake deadline.If you read the document closely, you find in very small font a statement that "CFS is a private entity, which will assist for a fee in the filing of your annual registration. CFS is not a government agency and does not have a contract with any governmental agency to provide this service." This is the disclaimer that keeps them out of court, as with the disclaimer by signature line.As you review the document, the typical $50 annual renewal fee for an LLC paid to the SoS is marked up to $170 by C.F.S. They are literally pocketing $120 as profit for doing this work. You are asked to send a $170 check to a shady PO Box in ******* while the form denotes that the corporate office is in *******, **.They will tell you its a normal business transaction because they have disclosed who they are, and you signed it. I don't know how the people behind this sleep at night, or continue to work and run this unethical scam. They absolutely know they are attempting a subtle deception, and profiting from it.

      The letters look formal with Business Numbers and it MOST DEFINITELY LOOKS LIKE the payment is required because there is a DUE DATE on the payment. I am not the only person to complain about this.... I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you change your letter to prevent future complaints.
