      The company C.P.S. is giving me a fake notice asking me to mail them a check for $120. They have all of my company's information and they are stating that I need to file a statement of information for $250.This looks legit but it is completely fake as I never solicited their services and they should not have my private information such as my EIN.

      I receive unsolicited documents that this organization will file an annual report on my behalf. When I contact them at ************, they offer to remove me from the mailing list---however, voicemail is always full so I cannot leave my information. There is no website or other phone number offered so that one can stop this annoying and misleading service.

      This CPS company sent out an official-looking letter with all of my company's data (including incorporation dates, Business ID) noting Federal OSHA requirements and a form to be filled out to meet such requirements, with an associated fee of $295.00 This is trickery at its' worse and all should not engage this company.

      I live in ********, ****** and just received a letter from W.C.S., a business based in ********. The letter includes a "2022 - Annual Report Instruction Form" in English on one side, Spanish on the other. In all ways it looks official, except for two lines, which read "If the business is still in active status, W.C.S., a private entity, will assist for a fee in the filing of your annual report." and "W.C.S. IS NOT A GOVERNMENT AGENCY AND DOES NOT HAVE A CONTRACT WITH ANY GOVERNMENT AGENCY TO PROVIDE THIS SERVICE." (Original is all caps)This is the second year I have received one of these letters. I disregarded the first. Now, I see W.C.S is using this as an underhanded marketing tool to charge unsuspecting business owners a fee that is completely unnecessary. I deal with contracts for my businesses as a regular part of my job, yet I nearly fell for this scam the first time.So, I'd like BBB to spread the word about this and, if possible, help shut this company down.       I received an extremely professional looking letter in the mail after registering my business in OH.I, however, have other LLC's, and so this letter stood out to me as a possible scam. I am very disheartened that some people may fall for this scam out of fear. This "fake" business should be shut down and the scammers should be prosecuted. I have read the company's responses and there is no indication that this company will file anything on another company's behalf. There is no indication within the letter that there will be anything filed, it is a letter requesting money for no service.

      In April of 2022 Work Place Compliance Services sent me a letter about the renewal of my ****** business license. The document had all my correct ********************** information and license number. I filled out the paperwork and had a $185 check issued from my bank. Fast forward to July of 2022 and I get a letter from the *************** to renew my business license. I got on the phone with the number supplied on the new letter to find out what was going on. Upon talking to the lady on the phone they company that sent me the letter in April in her words "scammed" me out of $85 dollars to submit my papers for me. She told me they see this a lot from this company, and some never notice because they get the papers submitted before the letter is issued from the state. This company misrepresented who and what they were. I just hope by me reporting them I can save someone else from getting scammed by this company. I would like my $85 back.

      I am the agent at my company for filing LLC paperwork with the ******************* (I understand the information for LLC's and their agents are available online). We have never used or requested a third party do this paperwork for us. We have never even researched a third party doing this for us. We are happy doing this service ourselves to ensure everything is submitted correctly and timely. C.P.S. sent over a non-numbered form with all of our information completed minus the final signature. Stating we needed to file immediately or there would be a $250.00 late fee. The filling costs they want paid directly to them is $120.00. C.P.S. has even taken the liberty to consider me a customer and provided me a customer id through their company. I have never reached out to them. I have never heard of them prior to this mail. The form is deceptive and appears as a state document. It is close in design and wording to the form "LLC-1 (REV 06/2016)" that is issued by the ********** Secretary of State. In big bold letters it states the state code for filing the paperwork, as well as "RESPOND TODAY"
