  Stay away! I contacted Rapid Mold because it came up first when I used ******. BIG MISTAKE on my part. I asked them to please come prepared to treat a very small area about 4x4 in my basement. The technician showed up and I asked him if he could look at another area I had a concern with. He licked his finger then wiped the spot in question and told me "no that is not mold" I never knew you could determine what is and what isn't mold by this "testing." I did not feel comfortable about his answer to the additional area of concern and contacted another company to come to my home and look at it. The company was amazing and did an air quality test, looked over my entire basement and explained that the treatment I paid $1200 for 16 square feet to have done was not properly treated. The majority of that small area wasn't treated. The spot that was finger licked tested by the first company was in-fact mold. My basement had a lot of mold. I paid the second company to treat everything and they did a professional job. After this I contacted Rapid Mold removal to inform them of what occurred and what was found. I explained what the technician did with his finger test as well as not looking over the rest of my basement. I emailed Rapid Mold removal in detail about what had transpired on 10/10/2024 as well as sent the air quality reports. As of 10/28/2024 I had not received a response so I then called and spoke with ***. *** let me know I would not be getting a refund and said I should have allowed them to come back to my property. After a long conversation with *** explaining that I did not want his company back at my home that I would like the big boss of the company to contact me within 24 hours to get this matter resolved, there is still no resolve and it is now 11/12/2024. I will never recommend this company to anyone and will let everyone know my personal experience. Mold is and can be very dangerous,

  Promptly sent out employee. For the record, these employees are mold remediators, not building contractors. Unfortunately, we have had to chase mold throughout the house because massive flooding was not noted in seller disclosure; so RMR had to come out multiple times. Great 5 year warranty!

  Rapid Mold Removal was able to arrive quickly. They had to remove carpet, padding, and drywall in addition to treating the area for mold - due to a water leak. After that we had contractors come in for repairs, and every single one commented on the sloppy and unprofessional job done. They didnt remove enough carpet. They didnt offer drying aids. They tore drywall and metal edging, leaving jagged and sharp edges that actually made the repairs more difficult, more complex, more expensive, and most importantly, dangerous. Two contractors told us they would have fired anyone who did that quality of work for them. That being said, the employee sent arrived quickly, on time, and was very nice.
