     Sky Energy has lied to me every step of this project. I already had solar panels on my roof from a company that filed bankruptcy. I had 15 panels and had them installed in Dec. of 2019. I was worried about needing a new solar company to take over if I ever encountered problems with these. I had been making a monthly payment of $119.00 since January of 2020. The total cost for this equipment was $24,000. I had contacted Sky Energy to see if they would be able to help me with removing them because I needed to put a new roof on my house and I didn’t have anyone available. They agreed to remove them and then told me I needed another 5 panels to offset the remainder of the electricity I was still paying for on my electric bill with Consumer’s. Paid them $1,250 for removal and reinstalling them. So they quoted me $15,000 for 5 more panels and for the installation. And after the roofing company and Sky Energy agreed that these panels could be put back up on my new roof they reversed their position AFTER THE NEW METAL ROOF WAS INSTALLED. That was early Feb of 2024. The roofing company said if Sky Energy drilled holes through the metal shingles the 50 year warranty would be null and void. So here it is April. No work has been done yet because I told Sky Energy the panels would have to be ground-mounted. Now I am looking at removing 4 walnut trees and I have been told they can’t mix my older panels with new ones so I have to pay over $30,000 for tree removal and the cost for 16 of Sky Energy’s panels. My older panels are no good according to Sky E. and meanwhile I still owe $12,000 for them.I had been getting a tax break with my old system.

    I would not recommend this company. Lack of responding to calls, emails and repeated text messages.Will not provide us with full itemization of supplies and equipment, brands, warranties.Quoted $200+ payments for 25 years. Actual will be $300+ after 18 months. Salesperson told us wed get a tax rebate which wed turn over to the lender to keep payments at 200+, however, were on Social Security and dont have to file so our payments will go up. Salesperson is not a tax accountant. Our average electric bill is $120 so we calculated approx raising our debt by less than $100 to have our electrical up to code and a generator. UCC notice filed on property so if we cant make payments when were older, they can place liens on our home and garnish our Social Security income. No advance calls about replacing roof, solar panels or tree trimming a couple branches that salesperson said would just be thrown in. Theyve been to our home on 3 occasions. 20 hours total. The job isnt done yet. Missing bringing our home and garages electrical up to code. Missing generator. Missing finishing solar system. Our payments start in 3 weeks and the project isnt done.

    Not big on communication. Called numerous times with no call back. Did not find out how the whole process worked until the last minute when I was actually able to talk to someone. Was lied to on numerous occasions. Was told if i have any problems to call and it would be taken care of. It wasn't until the last second. Would not recommend until these issues are fixed within the company.
