    January 24, 2023 a representative of SWICK Heating and Plumbing came to my home and performed an estimate on repairs to have new water lines run to replace the original lines that had broke due to freezing. The repair was quoted at $2172.00. The representative informed me that I would have to pay half upfront. I paid the full amount at that time. I was informed by the representative that they would be out in two weeks to do the job. Two weeks passed and I called to see when they would be out to do the repair. I was informed that they were waiting on parts. I waited patiently to receive a call for scheduling. On the 10 of March I called back to see what the hold up was. I was informed at that time by the person who answered the phone that she did not know why this had not been scheduled yet. She scheduled the crew to come out and do the repair. On March 15, the crew showed up to do the work. I informed them that at this point I just wanted to get the main line that broke repaired and was hopeful that other lines would not be broken. I wanted to be informed of the work that would be done and asked for this info. The tech informed me that they would not be putting heat tape on the main water line which is a code requirement. I asked why they would not be doing that and the tech informed me that I was responsible for that. I called Swick immediately and asked to speak with a manager and told him the situation. A little while later the crew got to work and repaired the main water line. The cost for the one line to be repaired was $1800.00. I called and spoke with management about this cost because I couldnt understand how running all new lines throughout the house was $2,172.00, but the cost of one line (which was included in the initial quote) was $1,800.00 and took a crew of 3 guys to replace. The total time to replace the line was about an hour and a half. I have contacted Swick numerous times and have been told they will call back. They have not done so.

    We bought ******** defiance wood stove from swick Feb 2022 the first time we used the fire brick fell off the side we contacted them and we talk to *** the salesman that sold us the stove we sent him pic per his request and he told us that he call the manufacturer and the claim was approved we have called several time he keep saying the manufacture but they didnt sell us the stove swicks did we ask them if they look at the stove before the sold it us because they got it from a sister store and they said yes but when we picked up it was still in the crate I would say we called them 6 or seven time with the same answered today they told me to go to firebrick .com and order my own I think they should do that not us We are concern that if fire brick keep falling off it might cause a fire we paid **** for this wood stove we live off grid its are only heat source we have never received one phone call back when we called to get issue resolved the old saying the check in mail well they keep saying the fire brick is the mail its only suspose to take a month *** said it been well over that
